Hey Laura, you've mentioned wanting to buy the house you're in a few times now. There is a type of mortgage known as a 'track record mortgage' designed for people who rent and have demonstrated their ability to pay a mortgage through their rent payments, no deposit is needed. Skipton Building society offers one. I suppose there must be some downsides to this type of mortgage but maybe it's worth looking into.

So smart to use another phone in your bedroom. I use mine for an alarm but is so tempting if I wake up in the middle of the night to get on my phone before I fall back to sleep. Separate phones eliminates the temptation.

I have a Kinesis Advantage Keyboard and it's changed my life - it's so good if you have any type of RSI going on. 4. Have you tried a vertical mouse? I've got one and that's helped too. 5. very interesting, but honestly it also scared me a bit with all the gadgets. i feel like the wellness industry is getting a bit out of hand. you don't need all these things to feel good. its just one more thing that gets produced, marketed, bought and eventually thrown out. when doing a lot more simple and free things can get the same effect.

I'm sure that if you show this video to the owners, they would LOVE to have someone like you buy their home! It would make the prices easier for them to have a cooperative buyer and not have to go through the prices of showing it with the realtors and all. You may even be able to do a for-sale -by-owner transaction, to save money for both of you, and also, the owner MAY be willing to do a rent-to-own contract where you could start buying it now with what you are paying to rent it for the next couple years, until you have enough saved to either get a mortgage or just buy it. You should express this desire to the owners NOW.

This is the most humble and unpretentious tour I've ever seen. I love that you just shared what you do instead of pushing an agenda, justification, or push anything on others. Saying things like "I don't know if it works or not, but it makes me feel good", or "I guess we'll find out", are so real. In my opinion the placebo effect is so strong that it pays to be open to the possibility of everything and anything working. If it works through placebo or nocebo or for real, I'll take it. If my brain and body respond that is all that matters. Quietly a bit jealous of your dedication... and a few of your bits and bobs. I'm on a similar journey myself. My husband loves his celery juice. He has more energy all day when he starts the morning out with his glass of juice. He is 81. His favorite way to drink it is with a couple squirts of Chipotle Tabasco sauce. It helps keep his weight under control.

container gardening is great for small spaces or gardening on properties you don't own! there are lots of container-friendly varieties of veggies. it's the best thing you can do for yourself!

Great tour Laura! Beautiful little home for you ❤ you can buy grow bags here in Australia that have handles. You could grow veggies and take them with you if you have to move. They are supposed to be better than pots as they are breathable ❤

If buying soil in typical potting mix bags, you can also just punch drainage holes in the bottom and sides with a screwdriver, cut the top open and plant away. On their side for lettuce and herbs, upright for bigger plants. The grow bags are great if you get soil in bulk though!

I love your videos and btw your skin looks amazing 😍. I’ve been trying the de silva method and seeing positive results. Maybe look at this one for helping you to achieve buying your house goal? As you deep dive into these things would be great to see how this works for you? On another note you have so many gadgets to improve your health and wellbeing how do you fit them all in to your day? Be great to see a video on how you run your day and what is your regime from waking up washing your face etc to going to bed? How do you fit all these health gadgets in what do you follow a timed regime?

I wonder if you need direct skin contact with it? Also curious to see it tested with any old cheap multimeter to make sure it's not one of those scam ones that have real silver but no actual connection through the cord/plug. Would love to know a reliable brand that has been tested if you know one?

Nice to see your still close to your mum still and that i’m not alone in taking time out in my day to brush my pet cat too ! If using a mouse still bothers you, you might try switching to a trackball. I started using one in... 1999? and haven't had wrist pain since, and I play a lot of online games. My original Microsoft Explorer trackballs no longer work properly, so I discovered the Sanwa Gravi, which is pretty much an exact copy.

Using my IRLT LED mask at night, now, before bed. OMG! What a huge difference in my sleep quality! Never realized...until I switched from a.m. to p.m. for using my IRLT devices - how using them(well, the face mask for sure), in the p.m. can improve ones sleep! (vs. Using in the a.m.)

Hello, I have found your channel and watched your videos for a couple of days now and I'm having an interesting challange for you ( I hope, of course). The challenge is about improving our sight. Now I'm 45 but when I was much younger than now I used to practise my sight by doing exercises every day. The result was amazing. I improved my sight pretty much and no longer wore thick glasses. But I was 20 then. Now, I'm older, my sight is getting worse (stopped practising long time ago) and decided to go back to this practice. I can see you wear glasses too, maybe you'd like to try it for at least 3-6 months (sometimes it takes so much time to see the final result). The practice is simple, I do it a couple of times a day. The exercise consists in looking as far to the right as possible, then to the left. Then up, down. Then diagonally. Later, put one finger (or e.g. a pencil) closer to your nose, and hold the other finger in front of you, but at a distance. And we look at these fingers alternately. The next exercise consists of following the finger (or a pencil) that makes eights. Each exercise can be done several series, each look in a given direction lasts from 5-10 seconds. At the end, we blink, you can also blink between series (then we moisturize our eyes). After such blinking, where the eye rests, we put something warm on the eyes and relax. This is how I strengthened my eye muscles a long time ago, improved my eyesight and I didn't need such strong lenses. I love that you use white vinegar for cleaning. I do too. I was living in NZ when I first found your channel and there I feel like everyone uses it... You can buy massive 2 liter bottles of it from every supermarket....but here in the UK people seem surprised when I use it 😅 ironic because it works so well on limescale which we don't even get in NZ! I've watched so many of your videos and loved them all.... Can't believe that my first comment on any of your videos is about cleaning which I also try to minimize 😅

Yes and no, we do still get mineral deposits but it’s not specifically limescale, so shower glass is a nightmare and none of the products, natural or otherwise, can get rid of it once it’s there. The pros literally buff it off and charge a fortune for the privilege. I’m a Brit living in NZ and I also use vinegar but then I’ve always had a septic tank.

Hey! Feng shui practitioner, here :) Yes, it's true that it's less-than-ideal, in terms of feng shui, to have your back to the door, because a) people could potentially sneak up on you and b) symbolically, it means having your back to opportunities and the natural flow of energy. Fortunately, since you live alone, people sneaking up on you isn't likely to happen...as long as your house is secure and locked up, otherwise. So, it might be a good idea to make sure of that. Also, is there a spot on the wall or in the corner of the room where you could place a mirror facing the door to your office? If you can at least see the door, that can be helpful. Question, though...are you sure you want to be near all those UV rays, all day long? I had to get some blackout curtains for my office, because I was starting to notice signs of accelerated UV damage on my face, from sitting near a bright window, all day long. I love that you have a secondary desk set up, for when you get an assistant. That's one way of "cultivating receptivity", which is a feng shui concept. And it's fab that you are well-organized, at least inside your house. Thanks for another fun video :) Blessings! - Claire

The natural cleaning products are interesting to me, I'd like to use more but never certain which brands/products work and are actually natural, or the best method. I like how you explain all the things you have there. Definitely things for me to think about getting in the future.

Hi Laura! Loved this video too! And would love if you did all of the additional videos you mentioned here, like a video on skin care, the eight sleep etc. These, more day-to-day products that enhance our lives are something I am very interested in and would sit and watch full videos on as well :) Especially from someone like you, a trusted person in the health space who also is very down to earth. This is a very hard to find here as most seem to want to sell us the products they are showcasing, rather than just showing us what they have found is working for them and how... 💚💪💚

Different from your usual video, but love it. As far a cleaning products , there are lots of very simple recipes on the internet using Castile soap and water. You have lots of lovely gadgets and really looking forward to upcoming videos 😊

Your house and lifestyle are so very considered. Lately I’ve also really gotten into simplifying my routines and it’s the best. I’d even say it’s necessary otherwise I’d never be able to hit my goals. Speaking of.. good luck on the house deposit! I make my own bathroom cleaner from distilled water, hydrogen peroxide, 90% alcohol, dish liquid and vinegar. Works like a charm. I have cleared lots of chemicals from my house also.

I love your hair. Maybe you can sublet the office space or find someone to take over the lease? Now I need to get a cat tower by my desk for my own black kitty, she does like to chill by me sometimes. Ooh I recognize that rug, is that a ruggable rug? I love the wild garden, so beautiful and magical. I am very interested in the Eight Sleep but am curious if it increases your electricity usage much? In my country the power company is for profit so our electric bills are crazy. Congratulations on the new home, I hope you are able to buy the house!
