Unfortunately what is mentioned in this video about the Dome of the Rock not being part of AL Masjid ALAqsa is not true. Please correct your information and the message you are sending to all. ALMasjid ALAqsa is everything inside the surrounding wall which is 144000 square meter or 144 dunum. What you are pointing at and calling it ALMasjid AlAqsa is called ALMasjid ALQibli which is part of ALMasjid ALAqsa just like any other musalla including the Dome Of the Rock.

This video is misleading. Masjid Al-Aqsa is the entire compound. The Dome of the Rock is like Kaabah 🕋 in Masjid Al-Haram and is at the heart of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa. The building this video is emphasizing is where the first prayer lines start and where the imam stands. It is near the southern end of the precinct/compound thus the closest to Qiblah. Therefore it is known as Musalla Al-Qibli المصلى القِبلي. Sometimes it is also called جامع المسجد الاقصى that is the primary congregation building of Al Aqsa Mosque because the imam leads from there being where the first lines start near the south. Please don’t confuse the names of the building with the name of the entire compound. The English translators do not necessarily distinguish between جامع and مسجد. They translate both to mosque thus a confusion happens. There can be many congregation hallways جوامع in Al-Masjid Al-Haram for example. Same for Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.

Masjid Al Aqsa is the compound that holds the actual masjid and the Dome of the Rock. Masjid is actually called Qibali masjid.

Assalamualaykum my brother, Masjid Al Aqsa is the entire sanctuary ie 144000 square meters. The mosque you are referring to as Masjid Al Aqsa is the Jama Al Qibly (closest to Qibla) built by Umar Ibn Al Khattab RA. Prophet SAW led all approx 124000 prophets in prayer at Masjid Al Aqsa.

Very informative Sheik because I was not aware of this either. I was wondering can you make a video on a specific hadith that I have confusion on and how the salaf understood it and the scholars. The hadith says that we can't rebel under any circumstances unless the an abusive or repressive Amir or leader does not do open kufar and and allows the prayers.

al masjid al aqsa is the whole compound with all the mosques in it (it is what the christians and jews call the temple mount), that one is al masjid al qibli , the other is the dome of the rock as you said, don t get mistaken by the word "masjid" it is indeed a majsid but is very big that it has many smaller masajid in it, you can pray in the ground outside and it would still be considered a prayer in masjid al aqsa, its more about the place than about the buildings REMEMBER , and allah knows best

Its true what u said, The whole compound is masjid al aqsa and there are different structures within the compound like the masjid you were referring to is called masjid al qibali (المسجد القبلي( ..actually the jews have their eyes on dome of the rock as they claim its built on the place of their temple.

Masha'Allah I miss this place May Allah grant us to visit again. The whole area is Masjid al Aqsa Shaykh, its the whole compound not a particular building. The Masjid you referring as Masjid al Aqsa is Qibli Masjid. Yes you are correct the location for this was built by Hazrat Umar (ra). But the locals consider the whole compound as Al Aqsa and refer to main prayer Masjid as Qibli Masjid because its closest to Qibla.

It is also called Qibli masjid.

I think if you mention the real masjid Al Aqsa in the time Prophet Sulaiman until the time of Prophet Isa, it reside on the of top of the rock under the Dome of the Rock. It also called as The Temple of Solomon in Jewish tradition or Beit Hamakdesh in hebrew which is Baitul Maqdis if it translate to arabic. The Jewish Temple is Masjid Al Aqsa mention in the Quran and Hadith. It also maintain the role of qiblah for the صلاة in the shariah of The Children of Israel and their great prophets just like Kaabah today. They make sacrifes and pilgrimage on the top of Temple Mount or Mount Moriah and inside the Temple Foundation. They are living example of shariah of Musa Alaihisalam down to Prophet Isa Alaihissalam. الشرع من فبلنا The mosque your mention only being built by Umar radiallahu anhu beside the real foundation of Masjid Aqsa/Temple of Solomon which are being in ruin for 500 years after the destruction of second temple. If we muslim want to claim this place, we should preserve the Temple Foundation better that The Children of Israel in the past so that the jewish today know that their great prophet(Yaqub, Yusuf, Musa, Daud, Sulaiman, Zakaria, Yahya and Isa) is our prophet. Our story of Baitul Maqdis and its meaning not start in the time of israk and mi'raj, but it start with the construction of Masjid Al Aqsa/Solomon Temple in the time of Prophet Sulaiman Alahissalam

These archeological findings prove Muhammads claim Al asqa was built 40 years after the Kaaba (Sahih al-Bukhari 3366) and the Islamic narrative that Al asqa was built by Adam or Abraham as completely and comprehensively false.
