As-salamu alaikum sheikh. Every time I see your videos I grow in my religion. You give it clear cut 100%. I love you for sake of ALLAH and may ALLAH give you long life and good health so we can learn more from you. I sware by ALLAH you are a blessing in North America. May we meet soon inshallah.
'Imran bin Husain (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "As-Salamu 'Alaikum (May peace be upon you). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) responded to his greeting and the man sat down. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Ten (meaning the man had earned the merit of ten good deeds)." Another one came and said: "As-Salamu 'Alaikum wa Rahmatullah (May peace be upon you and the Mercy of Allah)." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) responded to his greeting and the man sat down. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Twenty." A third one came and said: "As-Salamu 'Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu (May peace be upon you and the Mercy of Allah and His Blessings)." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) responded to his greeting and the man sat down. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Thirty." [Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi, who classified it as Hasan]. Alhamdulillah 2years later, I was searching for beard stying videos but stumbled upon this piece. JazakaAllahu khair Shiekh, you just saved me from taking the wrong path.
I appreciate your openness. It is interesting for an American such as myself to receive information about Islam not filtered by Western Media. Excellent video. Interesting that neck hair is not considered a Beard. Very interesting.
Suddenly this video is recommended in my RU-vid after I commented on the other video asking sheikh uthman opinion. Thank you youtube. Thankyou syeikh. Alhamdulillah
Usually I skip through video's but this one I watched it right from the very beginning until the very end. Jazakallah khair for the knowledge provided.
Alhamdulillah TabarakAllah! May Allah, subhaananu wata’ala, bless you with goodness and Jannatul Firdaus, for your thorough* explanation of how to maintain the beard and mustache.
I love you sheikh for the sake of Allah i came to this video from your dawah videos may allah preserve you and give you long live with health and wealth. Ameen❤
The "style" and commentary by many for a while now has been to shave the mustache. But like mentioned in this video and quotes was to shorten the mustache. My understanding is shorten is not the same as shave. The 'soul patch" I was never really sure I would usually shorten it as mine tends to curl up towards the lip and not down and away mine is also very thin and close to the lip and doesn't extend down much. Good info and easy to understand, I will try to stick more closely to the teachings
Sheikh, barakallahu feek! Can you do a video like this on headwear please? Do we need to cover our heads? Why do you cover your head? What is the best headwear?
I have a question regarding the cheeks. What is the cut off point in terms of how low you can remove hair i.e. starting below the eye and moving downwards? I was kinda hoping I could keep beard but just remove bit so the beard goes across the face at a straight line as opposed to the beard being high and levelling off at same height as moustache.
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته One question sheikh, is it permissible to trim hair on the sides of the beard that stick out, as in to tidy it (so it doesn’t look rough)? جزاك الله خيرا
Dear sheikh you mentioned that Umar RA used to have a long mustache, but he trimmed it so it didn’t go over the lips. Some people have mentioned daleel that Umar RA used to stroke the extra hairs on the side of moustache when he used to think and contemplate. Does that mean we can have moustache extended to the sides so we can do “tau” in Urdu. Regards
I didn't see the part about the length of the beard - I have a beard for a while now but I keep it about 4 inches or so, no specific length and I just make sure it's not too short.
jazak Allah hu khair shaykh and when are you doing a video on the length or location of the below "" BELLY BUTTON "" hair removal waiting desperately jzk
What if i have a full mustache and goatee but my cheek hair is still in development and is very patchy and uneven… is it permissible to shave my cheek hair until my whole beard is more even?
