It's like the writers for The Boys are trying to make as hardly believe that A-Train would die this season, I have a feeling he will survive this season.
I would absolutely love to see homelander just absolutely fall apart upon losing his powers rather than be killed. If they really do just remove the V, then everything that gives him power will be stripped away and he'll be no different than the people he sees as ants and "toys for his amusement"
Same here, I wonder how they would go about that though. I feel like they may go a different direction since we already had a failed attempt of doing so with soujla boy but who knows
He did love popclaw though, he nearly had a mental breakdown after he killed her bc he felt so bad, he blamed Hughie bc he the sheere amount of trauma he got from that situation
Ngl. I hope A-train becomes the leader of the seven after Homelanders death. Man's not only one of the most potentially powerful but is one of the few characters learning what it means to ACTUALLY be a hero. Starlight will retire, and someone needs to lead the future of supes.
i think they're only trying to mislead with the title of the finale "assasination run". they probably named in that for us to think a-train is gonna die, it's probably about the election or neuman's death.
It is neumans death, during a deal transaction with neuman butcher lifts her up into the air with his tentacles coming out of his chest and splits her head open, also her legs go flying all over the place. The “you’re all f*cking welcome” line in the trailer with butchers face covered in blood is in this exact scene.

A Train being spared of his comics death for the sake of Hughie and His arcs makes me believe he's making it at least to season 5, but I'm not sure he'll end the show alive
If he joins the boys, The Boys would have infinite plot armour because A train will get them out of any situation. Hes most likely gonna die in season 5/4
@@camdatboi ik ik but think about it. If A Train lives and joins the boys, the stakes will be so low because A train will just quicksilver them out of any situation.
@@Director_Oompaloompanot if season 5 is about an all out war between the boys and the supes. A train is powerfull but he can still be hurt, kimiko has more plot armor than him because she can’t die
You absolutely right I said the same thing only not Jey Uso, I was saying A-Train's arc is like a bad heel in wrestling but slowly plant slow seeds of development. Then when they finally turn face us fans will cheer loudly for it.
@@rdrb8329 @vought_hq, they banned him, if u wanna know smth i'll tell u only a big female character dies this season ( bcs the other 6 episodes came out )
Whether he really felt real about pop claw or not is debatable but he wasn’t “with her for the V” he had the V. Most supes (even those in the 7 like starlight) didn’t know about V. Only reason why the B list pop claw did was because she was with him. And he only knew and had access to the V because of they were creating the super villains and they were using a-train to be their drug runner/smuggler. (I say they but most likely homelander since that was his plan and upon telling higher ups they were upset.)
I would like for him to be a continuing member. Also, the best endgame is that the virus neutralizes V indefinitely - that all supes become human. I think it meets both of butcher’s personalities’ criteria - the good and the vengeful.
A-Train dying is almost too obvious for this show. I'd find it more interesting and exciting if Homelander killed one of the less important Boys like Frenchie or MM this season, since this season they have done so many dangerous things without a good plan behind it or without any real leverage, and it would bring back some of the realism and danger we felt in season 1.
7:17 predicted the attempt at saving Ashley, also yeah there's no way they kill A-train in the finale after setting up his character like this. Very possible that it happens in season 5 though
I'd like to remind people that when they planned to kill Black Noir they cast a different actor to be under the mask so Nathan Mitchell could continue being on the show because the crew is very close, So Jessie T Usher is not going to be killed off until at least season 5
A good way for A-Train to die is at the end of season 5 after Butcher, Homelander and many others die, A-Train swiftly takes the virus to a far off place just before some explosion containing it goes off after it gets detonated by Butcher. A-Train makes the final run saving everyone 🎉 kind of like in the dark knight rises movie 🍿. Then at the end we see Hughie and Annie talking to A-Train’s brother and his kids telling them about the heroic things he did despite being imperfect
Since her introduction, I felt Sage definitely had ulterior motives with Honelander. She doesn't like him. She knows he's using her for his own improvement only. She simply outsmarted him. In fact, I'd imagine that she is looking for a method to subtlety dethrone Homelander.. Replaced by his son. And yea, she definitely knows it's A-train.... Probably knew awhile ago. But the situation can work in her advantage and poasibly, for the greater good. Idk Sages full angle but, I'd like to think she has something positive in mind for her endgame.
Yes I believe that too, I feel like if a train were to escape homelander would use his family, because there hasn’t been like a big wow, like we have to see homelander kill someonee from the main cast like in a intense fight, and see homelander really turn once and foreall
what you said at the end about butcher and homelander having a fight without being v’d up, butcher absolutely wins that homelander rarely has to use his hand to hand combat skills against people and i can tell he ain’t all that
A-train is the second most powerful character in the Seven. If A-train was given a syringe with a virus that can kill Homelander, Homelander is dead. A-train has the intiative in any situation.
i think he probably will die, but not until season 5. i’m still skeptical of his redemption regardless of how bad he feels because the shit he’s done is so heinous, but i think giving his life to bring down homelander is the closest he can get to redeeming himself. also, he absolutely did love popclaw. it’s pretty unambiguous. he was insane with grief when he held hugh sr. hostage
I kind of agree with you, it's a little too early for him to die. I want to see what he does working with the boys. I also believe that sister saige it's going to keep a train alive so that she can use him to help her with her plans. At the end of the day, he still has superpowers that she doesn't and so letting him die would mean that she's all alone
I also think that the assassination run argument is wrong since it's clearly a refrence to a presidential run. It's just so weird that everyone forgot about victoria's plotline and that it's been set up for her to be killed through out season 4
One thing I liked about this season was A-Train and Hughie making peace. It's like, their rivalry was the complete opposite of Butcher's and Homelander's feud. Like, by the later half of season 3, A-Train and Hughie started to understand each other, even though they hated each other. And they ended it peacefully too, I think during the moment A-Train gave Hughie the V, he realized he can't keep this rivalry going between him and A-Train, because eventually it will consume them both. Butcher and Homelander's however, Butcher's hatred for Homelander had already consumed him, right from the beginning of the series. And from where A-Train eventually learned from all he had done over the course of the series and is now actually trying to be better, Homelander doubles down at every short coming, making him progressively worse
*Can’t stop the A-Train, baby* I agree A-Train will be alive and I see why people would think he might die but personally I would rather he not. There is a lot you can do with his character
Definitely agree. With one episode left, and A-train taking his family and leaving, i dont think he narratively has a reason to come back until S5. He would be laying low, and unless the writers have him come in marvel-style to save the day after seeing the boys fight homelander or newman on the news, which doesnt seem right for the show. I definitely still think he's going to die but i feel like his arc is helping the boys realize supes can change for the better, and butcher is still thinking about using the virus on everyone, therefore his purpose hasnt quite been fulfilled.
It would be cool if the motive for the rest of the universe after the boys is trying to take out vought and the other teams they have and trying to make true heros for the world
I know what happens to A-Train the last two episodes *SPOILERS BELOW BE WARNED* He convinces MM not to run away to Belize and keep fighting. He saves Annie from the deep and fights him himself. Season ends with him trying to convince Ashley to run away with him and she says no, he runs away alone. So no, he doesn’t die.
My theory is: A trains death has been foreshadowed so much it’s so obvious now, he will not die in this finale as the only thing that would get him killed is sister sage alerting homelander of him being the insider. The twist is Sister sage is the insider and has successfully infiltrated the seven and pulled them apart from the inside.
so if gen v continues, idk if they’ll kill a train, the most consistent 7 members have been the deep and a train and I believe one of them have to go, and butcher is gonna die which is fine, I would like a train to be the hero after homelander dies or whatever. A train story arc doesn’t seem nowhere near completed yet. Everyone can see what the a train storyline is but anyone who is invested into the show, isn’t ready to see a train bite the bust
Quite frankly, A-Train’s power set make him a necessary asset when the Boys go up against Homelander directly. Though he wouldn’t beat full strength Homelander one on one, as part of a team, his speed, strength, and endurance are invaluable, especially for a weakened Homelander. In other words, he’s too OP’d for the writers to kill him off next week 😅
You had said season 2 a train switched out alex but na bro that happened in season 2 A train got booted from the seven in season 2 due to storefront being racist and he got back into the seven at the end of season 2.
Ngl you make a good point also we got the same chair. I keep my chair pillow in the same place too. Weird coincidence just though I’d let you know lmao
1:50 correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't a-train the one who gave popclaw the v? Well to stash some at her place because as mentioned in episode 8, Homelander says he's been giving a-train compound v so he can spread out across the world. So I know A-train for sure snuck some and gave them to her
Redemption is such a weird idea. He can do better that's all. If there was a sister of popclaw that popped up and ripped his head off all you really can do is shrug no matter whether he's been doing better or not
You made one mistake in your Last Video, it was Season 3 that A-Train Snitched Starlight’s Friend, not Season 2, other that that, it’s hard to say if A-Train will Survive or Die as depending on the Direction, it’s a 50/50 and even I hated this Character after Season 3 made me have a Small Change of Heart and Season 4 I’m growing to to Love the Character, in the End we just have to keep on Watching.
I will comeback in next week to see if this prediction is correct or not edit: holy shit it's correct a train didn't even showed up in the final episode!!!
@@LeonScottKennedy69VoughtHq leaked the plot for season 4 a long time ago. I’m not going to spoil but everything that happens this season they’ve predicted.
