She obviously worked closely with him, until his retirement from the show when Claudia took over. What a way to pay tribute to the man himself. Well done to the Strictly professionals for putting on what was a fitting tribute to Sir Bruce! Sir Brucie, keeeeeeep dancing in heaven!

My grandfather died a couple of weeks after Bruce, as I was watching Strictly I said to my mum 'Where's Bruce?' And she replied 'with Grandad'. My heart broke into a million pieces.

If you look at Anton's face you could tell that he was still finding it hard too. I went to his tour and he said that it was an honour to work with him and he was a very close friend. I remember he sang Me and My Shadow at the tour, which was a song he sang with Brucie on Strictly.

David Wilson No I am not. I'm just a normal 22 year old who doesn't like it when an extremely talented man gets insulted with false and hurtful claims by an idiot like YOU. Bruce was only a few days younger than my late grandad, and I actually think it's great that someone of their age can still do a job like Bruce's. To think that you take joy in saying things like that in a memorial performance that's been specially choreographed by the Strictly Come Dancing pros for him is just awful. 😠😢

Sir Bruce Forsyth, Legend. He will be sorely missed- i can't even imagine how his family, and the older pros, judges and Tess and claudia are feeling. Anton must be so torn up, they had a father son relationship- and as i said, his family. and US. gosh. i'm crying. everyone's crying.

Loved that routine at the end, pure class, and a very special group "pose" in tribute had me in tears. Tess was too, I think, and well done Claudia for putting a supportive arm around her. Great stuff.

Brice Forsyth you were and are a legend of tv. I grew up watching you on the generation game, play your cards right and so many other programmes like millions of others. It was a travesty that it took so long for you to receive a knighthood. I'm not sure if any other entertainer was such an all round entertainer and a gentleman at the same time. May you rest in peace sir, you will be missed.

Brucie was my hero. I first saw him when I was about 6 on Play Your Cards Right and I'd never seen anything like him before. He was so effortless and yet so obviously talented at everything he did. I one day dream of becoming a TV presenter because of Bruce and if i could have a fraction of the talent, humour, charm and brilliance he had I'd be delighted.

I still remember the day we were at my grandmas and grandads and my brother turned and said “Omg. Bruce Forsyth has died.” And my heart dropped. I was 11 and that was and still is today the celebrity that I miss the most ❤️😭

I always loved Brucie. To me he is really what a manager / supervisor at work SHOULD be. He's a total professional, warm, funny, but no question that He's In Charge. ..... I am not being flippant, I genuinely mean it he has Great Leadership personality traits.

Every time he was on the telly, I’d always just feel like I was seeing my grandad, because he was nations loveable grandad. Cracking jokes, classical, joyful and caring of everyone. RIP Bruce!

One of the few people that actually deserved the title SIR...he worked so incredibly hard to entertain or maybe it was God given talent? it just flowed......I remember him at Sunday night at the London Palladium when I was a lad. ,without him it wouldn't have been half as good, so funny and in complete control..
