Veteran TV host Sir Bruce Forsyth dies at 89 

I honestly thought he'd live forever.

So sad my thoughts are with his wife family and friends rip sir

A great entertainer, and a top bloke as well. Saw his show in Nott'm 3 yrs ago and he stayed and met everyone who waited.Almost 1 a.m. when he left,true professional,R.I.P Brucie.

He regularly made me cringe with his dad jokes and corny expressions but few entertainers captivate their audiences like he did, shows like the price is right and strictly just wouldn’t have been the same without him. He every bit deserved the career as successful as it was, a true legend and irreplaceable. RIP Bruce, he will be sorely missed.

Me and my husband were totally saddened and stunned when we heard on the news that Bruce Forsyth had died which was a total shock, and he was such a wonderful entertainer and host game shows Play Your Cards Right, The Price Is Right, Strictly Come Dancing, and also The Generation Game, which was our favourite game shows, and he was a absolute talent, and Bruce will be so sadly missed, Deepest Sysmpathy goes to Bruce wife Wilnelia and his family. What a legend bruce was. Used to watch generation game back in the 70's and play your cards right in the 80's. Used to keep himself very fit as well. Will miss him greatly.

Met him so many times in sotheby's London when I worked there and he was great gentleman. My family favourite.

38 now. I used to watch him when I was maybe 9 or 12, watched the generation game at my nana's house after a hot shower with a big blanket and my ninja turtle pajamas. I'd watch this with my nana and my grandad would come home from the pub and pretend to beat me up he would always let me win in the end. nana would tell him to grow up etc happy memories.
