Couldve done the land battle with B1's but and army of Supers is terrifying even tho they're slow as hell which makes sense due to them being "Heavy Infantry" Battle droids

23:56 Droidekas are definitely one of my favorite ground Black Sun units! I have a habit of building way too many of them and then suddenly losing them all when I look away for a moment while they are rolling around lol. Deceptively easy to blow up without their shield. Good idea to use attack move, like you said. 26:50 I find it helps to think of B2s kinda like B1 Extra Deluxe. They work best when massed, which isn't too hard with the right planets and production facilities. I would agree about their speed though, my least favorite part about them and why I don't use them all that often, even if they might excel in a particular fight. With enough Droidekas, who needs rockets anyway? 31:00 Worth mention IG has that Droid Commander ability. Essential for armies like this one!
@@captonx2 IG-88 has the "Droid Commander" ability, which works like an admiral bonus but just for droids (+5% combat bonus). Droids include anything you can build from a droid factory and IIRC AATs as well.
To answer your question about the firearms dealer when you corrupt a planet with black market sometimes you get an economic hero that gives you build speed on specific unit types. And they can be used to buy new technologies.
The weapons dealer appeared because of the black market, and also u can check what u can corrupt on a planet by clicking the little yellow icon to the bottom right of each planet
Great vid! If you may, you should go for the Providence Refit. Their a powerful ship and a stable of the droid revolution. I love the clone wars ships, especially the separatist stuff.
Thanks for the support means a lot! I do build a couple refit providences however not for a few more episodes. There coming just not yet :) I plan on using them for specific reasons so
@@captonx2 Rebel Jamming ships and Imperial Interdictors "Are you Sure about that?". The Refit is a powerful ship to be sure, but also VERY EASILY countered, since its ALL Proton Torpedos and Proton Bombs. Personally prefer the basic version since it also has Guns. Rebel 1 is a Wierd mismash of the 2: No hanger, its got the Close Range Turbos, Torpedos and the Bombs plus the extra engines.
@@pieterboshoff7582in 2.10 they make power generators a seperate building and must be built before you can build turbolasers and shield generators. And in 2.11 they are required for velocity guns ion cannons and the other one. So they probably built it with the intention of building something next
Edit: This information is out of date! Buzz Droids are once again anti-fighter for the time being in AotR. Capton, not sure how far ahead your recordings are, but I should mention Buzz Droids in AotR function differently. They are best used against corvettes and frigates, are slightly effective against capitals and structures, and do hardly anything to fighters.
Green squadron can be obtained I believe by not losing them in the battle of endor so they’re hard to get and I’m not 100% sure they are working correctly. The ai seems to just get them for free.
@@muratisik8880nah it’s fine, Endor is usually broken anyways however I heard it’s working fairly well rn, even still it’s hard to keep him alive because if you bring him in he suicides into the executor like he does in the movie so it’s either lose him or lose a ton of ships to the executor
Ya know, i don't know why they Removed the DROID Carrier and kept the Strike Carrier. The Droid carrier would be more "on brand" for the Droid Revolution (IE powerful SHIPS, TRASH fighters). After all its not like Vulture Droids and Hyenas SWARMS where that good without some serious micro. Like if i WANTED more Supra's and whatever else it launches, i would just BUILD THOSE instead. Seriously what is the point of the Casper anymore beyond being a Strikecraft Healer? I mean, it has A gun. The only Carrier with Turbo laser, all be it 1 turbo laser.
So the main reason they reduced all versions of carriers across all factions was to help with ai spam of them, additionally they still want less droids proabbky so they kept the droid carriers but the black sun part is to stick bs fighters in them
