When I prepare this tutorial, I wanted to discuss not only the basic issues such as tempo, pedaling, polyrhythm, and fingering, but also ideas that can elevate your playing, such as finding the right sound and playing with freedom and imagination. I hope some of my ideas will help you achieve a more artistic interpretation of this piece.
My complete performance of this Prelude: • Rachmaninoff Prelude i...

The presentation itself looks and sounds like a piece of art in and by itself, the special gestures, the pronunciation, the setup, the clothing, the mimics -- as if it is on a theatre stage... I have never seen something like this in a piano lesson. ))) But actually, I could get used to it as it is all crystal clear, professional, intertwining cultures and arts. Thank you. 💛🐸

Your comment is very special and I really appreciate it! I'm very happy to know you feel it's "like a piece of art" because helping people to play more artistically is something I always try to achieve in my tutorials, and I did pay attention to a lot of details. I'm glad you noticed.😊 I hope to have your continuous support.

Just started working on this piece, and the polyrhythms have me really frustrated. But I'm going to work on them the way you show, and am determined to get it. Fantastic tutorial!

Thanks for all your hard work to explain this piece. How do you fit the rhythms 8 against 5 in bar 6 , dont see any arrows showing this. The arrows in bars 2-4 agree with my drawn arrows on my manuscript, so we agree on this ! Bit more practical detail on pedaling would help. Thanks, Ron
