A very controversial subject! What's up with the feed and bags! No answers?

I've been a loyal customer for at least ten years. I've taken up for them on RU-vid with the issues everyone else had during the egg laying crisis, when my girls just kept on laying. Lately, things have changed. I've been slow to anger, but my last 17 bags were dust.. I waited to use those bc I can't just load them back up and take them back.. I also had no idea my hens wouldn't eat it. Now that the issue has come to light, what do they offer? Sixty cents off a bag? No other answers? I am one of their biggest demographics. As a RU-vid influencer, and a back yard sustainability teacher, blowing me off, not giving me assurances that it won't happen again isn't cool. They say its the end of the run. They can't do anything about that! (Yes, they can!) They need a quality person watching the production, at a minimum... their quality went down the drain...

I don't know anything regarding this issue by not having chickens, but just being a thorn in their side .😯

My few chickens get boiled potatoes or rice mixed with coconut oil, oregano, and boiled eggs with their shells crushed. In the afternoon either banana, salads, papaya or banana. They live on a grassy area where insects and worms can be found. I also have stones and thick pieces of wood lying everywhere that I turn over every two weeks - there are plenty of worms. My chickens became sick from the grain feed/pellets and some died. They couldn't tolerate beans either

I've read in several places potatoes and beans are a no no for them. Mom fed all kitchen scraps to anything outside, which was a lot, since we had a very large family, grew what we cooked and ate what we cooked. Food never killed our chickens. I can't say that now...

@@grandmasfarmlife During my childhood I visited my aunt every summer, who had a large farm in which around 20 chickens lived. Once a week she cooked a large pot of potatoes and mashed eggs. The chickens got this mixture in their trough every morning. But raw potatoes are harmful, not cooked ones

Mine eat them and anything else in their area... I don't lose any but the ones who die of old age. 🤷‍♀️

The feed we use has a lot of powder in it that’s why we add water. The powder is where all the nutrients are.

seeing more online about feed issues, happening again ones that have had homesteaded and raised chickens for years. :/

Post the name of the company. Why did you buy alot when you knew the formula changed and you chickens didnt' eat it

Because I trusted them. They told me it was the end of the run. 🤷‍♀️ I've always been loyal to brands I've used for years, and thought it was a fluke. A one time deal... After I got home, I started putting it all together with the bags being seconds and three feed bags being just like the last. They sent me to the warehouse and opened a new bag and it didn't look bad.. after I came home with new feed having issues, I got mad and called them.
