got the same switches on my zoom 75 and they sound almost identical but mine has just a hair higher pitch than yours, could also be the keycaps. either way they both sound great

Did you put the tape under the foam pad with the blue foil? Or did you put the foam below the pcb and then put tape over the foam?

Its an all foams config with tempest tape mod! switches were also lubed and filmed (gateron oil kings)

Oooh how do I do this :O I'm brand new to keyboards but I just got the Q1 Pro from Keychron, is it possible to do something like this with that board? I really like the keycaps with this keyboard as well.

How does this sound if you remove the tape mod and ixpe foam switch? Im wanna build clacky keyboard but don't know how to do so.

Would sound thinner than what it is with the tape. If you're aiming for a clacky build, try it with less foams and that should do the trick

only 10 % is not coming from the switch but 90% from the board. the oil kings are actually very clacky when put on other boards. but great sound 🙂 though could be achieved with many other cheaper switches (ofc they will feel different to) in my opinion

That's right, I bought a switch because that sound is too much for my taste. I hope the same sound can be heard at GMK67.

@@BigDomDaddy hella modding, it's a cheap shit keyboard but i see it as mainly for testing things, kinda like the GMK67. You force break, holee mod, lube, you gotta put some type of sound dampener in the bottom case and then use polyfil. I've modded my Monsgeek M1 and Mode Sonnet like this and it sounds amazing.. The Mode Tempo is out now and I'm buying it, sounds amazing and the value is unbeaten BTW I DON'T RECOMMEND THE CIY BOARD, WAS ONLY USING AS EXAMPLE..
