This is just a random vlog of what I was up to on this day. We got a very long package, I got some fake fall flowers, and I talked about how I signed up for OCIA classes. At the very least I should be able to get some questions answered to help me on my faith journey.

I have to go get paint and wood, but I get so much anxiety because I have no idea what wood I need and don’t want to look dumb. 😅 You’re so handy with all your projects! 🌻

What kind of project are you doing? don’t be intimidated, just walk down the lumber aisles and you’ll find what you need. There are usually shorter pieces mixed in with longer ones and they can cut them shorter for you in the store, just gotta find an employee to help lol

@@MommyEtc when they replaced the windows on the house, they weren’t contracted to make the window trim look nice when they were done and the wood is uneven. I guess the old windows were, like, thicker than the new ones and left gaps. So I need to go get really thin wood to make the trim even so I can caulk it and paint it or put tile on it.

The Holy Spirit is leading you in the right direction. I hope you find the religion classes helpful. The two You Tube channels you mentioned are good ones. Also on You Tube, EWTN has a segment called The Journey Home. It's very relaxing and enjoyable to watch. And remember to pray the rosary, even if you can only say one decade at a time, it will help you stay close to our Blessed Mother. ❤

One of my biggest issues with the catholic faith is they pray to Mary. The Bible says there is only one way to God and that’s through Jesus.

Catholics don’t pray to Mary. We ask Mary to intercede for us, meaning we ask her to pray to Jesus for us. Catholics believe Mary is not dead, but alive with Christ in Heaven. Watch a few Catholic apologists talk about it on RU-vid. It’s one of the most common misconceptions and misunderstood things about the Catholic faith. We believe there is only one way to God, too. We ask Mary to pray to Jesus for us.

@@MommyEtc the problem with that is there is no need for an intercessor. We can pray directly to Jesus so why would be need someone else?

We don’t *need* someone else. But don’t you ask people on earth to pray for you? It’s the same idea. No one has to pray to Mary. But if she has access to God, why not also ask her to pray for us?

I struggle with religion because any questions I've ever had nobody can answer. Like dinosaurs. We know they existed, we have museums full of them. But any priest you talk to will say no they didn't exist. And I'm like 🧐 I dont think anyone has all the answers. Just be a good person, pray if you believe in God. I don't think God will send you hell because you went to the "wrong" church.

You’ve really had a priest say dinosaurs didn’t exist? Sheesh. Now I have to look that up. I was just under the impression that dinosaurs lived with Adam and Eve.
