The first time I played Dark Souls, this happened to me on complete accident, I was shocked. Also felt a little disappointed that I didn't kill him the legit and right way.
Quit game and reload, it'll be where the enemy was last physically standing. (Easy way to get Laurentius's ring without going through his quest/losing Firelink for a while- kick him off the edge of the shrine)
@@WaywardPython I got to thinking about this the other day, and I think it’s also party due to his design. I mean, just look at him. He has a giant hammer in a confined space. You wouldn’t know the strategy is to just get behind him lol, cause you, at least I was, would be too busy trying to get away from him
@@videogamerzero1schannel that was a joke refering to the fact you're holding your weapons in each hand, in DS 1 it's almost completely pointless, but in DS 2 there was Power Stance (you attack wwith both weapons when you dual wield) with certain weapons that was pretty strong feature allowing for crackhead dps.
That actually happens a lot to the poor guy. You can also cause this intentionally. Same goes for these bosses: SPOILER WARNING Ceaseless discharge Centipede Demon Iron Golem Super Ornstein
@@gianluca8488 yes If he does his grab attack too close to a window, his animation will carry him right through it. He then proceeds to fall out of bounds resulting in his death.
@@gianluca8488 there is even wilder stuff to find. For example you can trigger the Ornstein and smough fight without entering the bossroom, completely breaking their AI. Similar stuff can be done in other arenas using the poopwalk glitch.
