3rd Saturday of every month is the Royal Enfield Owners Club meet at Haywards of Cambridge. This one was one of the best so far. Some great people and some fantastic bikes including a rather special Royal Enfield Bullet and a rare Fury.

Exactly why I eally don't like bobbers. No front mudguard and an uncomfortable ride. A chopped rear mudguard and a number plate at a silly and probably illegal angle. That won't matter though as it's unlikely to be used on the wet, muddy back lanes of Suffolk. So in the end, it's just a pretty ornament that has lost it's purpose. A triumph of form over function. Urgh! Other than that there are some bikes on show. Thanks for a nice video TAYM

Close but no cigar TAYM, its my other enfield that needs the engine build. The green flat tracker looking one, the crank came back from Alpha a couple of weeks ago & the new main bearings arrived this week. All being well I will start on the engine build within the next few days !

The Englishoiler would be used by me to deposit excess oil on my chain whenever a driver I don't like is behind me.

Vintage motorcycle Heaven! The Scott Oiler was brilliant! The Tin Man would would have loved it in the Wizard of Oz. 😂 The Bobber… I’m just blown away. I loved everything he did with that bike. Everything. Job well done! I need a local bike hangout like Haywards. ❤️

Thoroughly impractical Bobber . 😂 But a lot of fun . Guzzi 1000SP v nice . RE Model G . New model Bullet . All grand bikes . Thanks for showing them . Oil can Chainoiler with linkage , totally Heath Robinson but works . Needs a little bell to remind you when to pump . I wonder if one could be fitted to FD's newly rebuilt Bonnie ? The oiler I mean .

There's some very tasty machinery there! 👍 The oiler was an interesting alteration. Back in the day ('60's) both my Jawa 250 and 350 had a chain oiler that was a moulded plastic pipe from the back of the crankcase that went inside the fully-enclosed chaincase. It allowed oil-mist onto the chain which almost never - and I'm talking 15 years of ownership - needed adjustment. Simple, but very effective.

I loved the 50's style trials Enfield that was outside. If only they made a 350 like that now with the new J engine. 😮 Also I noticed Noraly's Bike has been taken in as a part exchange.😂

Hayward's look's great with that new set up they've been busy indeed. That Fury looks like an Enfield take on a scrambler or super moto. I wouldn't blame you for adding it to your collection, the styling is lovely but that chinese thing as a dash would have to go!

Morning love that bike in the pick up that is an amazing looking bike absolutely beautiful but that fury I would never believed £3.500 I think I might be interested so that’s 3 of us I think them flat tracker’s style is quite smart but seat doesn’t look very comfortable ride safe taym take care

That manual chain oiler is genius. Never liked Scottoiliers and usually end up removing them when i've bought a bike with one fitted.

@@TAYM Yep, they're too temperamental. 1 degree cooler and the flow stops, 1 degree warmer and they piss lube all over your rear wheel & tyre and you crash and die 🤣

Thanks for the take along Pretty RE in the back of the PU but I’m not a fan of custom show bikes If I were spending that kind of money it would go to a restoration project which would have a good return on my funds Was a great selection of bikes there and really appreciate you showing us around and pointing out all the goodie’s WOW ON THE OILER what a proper job that was and I think besides yourself was the star of the show Always enjoy your posts And regards from Florida

@@TAYMAfter my humiliating crushing defeat on my last attempt, I have taken to doing hard reboots of my router to clear its cache and maximise internet speed, practising my reaction times on the Comments button, and also practicing typing for several weeks to achieve 280wpm. It was worth it just to beat the bot (aka RR) or the bot he uses.
