Whats the point of you trying to disuade this guy from using a tool that could help him, regardless of the obvious fact that his will foundationally has to be the primary agent behind change. I tried that already. Using a non touch screen for texting is unbearable. I basically stopped texting. You’ll need a touchscreen.

Depends. Yes, for $10 you're not gonna get WhatsApp, but RU-vid works. However, for $70 you can get a Nokia or LG feature phone with 4G and WhatsApp (and also RU-vid, of course).
