Thank you Tyler for showing more of the Cape York tracks in one episode than lve seen on any other channel, great stuff, loved it!

Another awesome episode guys, great work. Watching those 3 Patrols traverse those tracks where over many years and especially the last few I've seen Y62 Patrols and LCs (never mind all those clowns in the advertised 'Go Anywhere' dual cabs always without fail being on the back of the flatbed truck) ALL CONTINUOUSLY get buried or bogged in where it just shows that your crews solid axle Patrols are some of the most capable Touring 4x4s in this country - PERIOD! Good on the old boy for tackling the same tracks as you guys do slowly over time he is gaining his confidence to get through now as he's in a capable vehicle so he is really starting to enjoy these big trips... great work Gaza! 👍 Also...not sure if anyone notices the work of what Shaunos still always doing in the background, where without even being asked, he's basically already positioned for being all you guys 'second' set of eyes where if you watch closely, one minute he's on the camera, then less than 60 seconds later, he's walked through a foot deep of mud and is on the other side of the obstacle connecting the winch lines up, then, no less than 10 mins later..he's at the next obstacle doing a visual, and before anyone said anything, he's already checked the low lying tree branches and quietly situated himself at the back of the convoy but on the opposite side of the camera (no doubt with the handheld GME CB) watching for problems which you guys can't see from the drivers seats..so definitely being the extra set of eyes..great work Shauno, your work's been acknowledged and you are a pretty serious asset to the TT group! 👍 Concerning all that heavy mud you guys always pick up from going through the tricky lines and then a couple of hours later is impossible to get off...in our 4x4 group, a while back we all pitched in $20 and purchased that battery powered high pressure sprayer (JET FOX) for when we are going through heaps of mud and bulldust and saltwater, we then pull up in the next fresh water crossing and connect up the jet sprayer, drop the intake hose into the water and quickly hit the 4x4s windows, undersides and particularly the brakes, steering arms and shocks and springs with the high pressure hose so it doesn't clog up underneath and work its way into the bearings, electrical connections and all the other crap which ever since we have got it and done this... it has significantly saved all of us so much time and money in wear and tear on all our vehicles that we have now bought one each as it's fkn incredible! Did it in 2021 as the old guy, son & grandson, three generations just as you've done it. Obviously I was in the Patrol, son in Hilux & our mates in 79 series, his son in single cab, plus himself in dual cab. Had a ball. Gotta go again when grandsons wheeling for himself, as you'll need to do with Gary, yourself & Kye in his own whatever. Future trip planning care of Wealie.

Good vid Tyler. Just a tip for carrying your pillows etc as I notice them just thrown in the back every.....single.....video 😂😂 you can get a cargo net type thing that tie onto the rear grab handles so you can stow stuff up into the roof cavity. Just a thought 🤙🏼

Great video, great trip! I've recently put an Ultimate 9 controller in my Colorado, I'd love to see you give a bit more detail as to which settings you use on different sections of tracks. My Colorado goes heaps better but I'm still playing around with the different settings. I'd love to travel up to the cape but I don't think I'd be doing the hard lines! Getting there and back without doing too much damage to my vehicle will be the plan!

The water on the rope swing wasn't deep but I bet it was warmer than your used to

I know its a bit late now but next time your up and when you get on the northern side of the Jardine you can follow the very overgrown old telegraph track from the linesman hut to Bamaga coming out near the cemetery and on to the coast ... some of it is the road but a lot is just beside the road. you might need to source some old maps though. My maps got wet on the way home so they are gone.
