Hey everyone, just threw together a collection of videos and photos of Adepticon 2023 just to give a feel of the show. Hopefully the gimbal doesn't give anyone motion sickness ;)
This makes me want to check out the "Origins" games convention in Columbus.... It's huge like this one, where alot of the manufactures show up.. etc ..
I have no idea what I am looking at. Are there like 50 different "worlds" or is that 1 giant one? That is a whole different scene than my comic book conventions and what I remember from the only other model kit show I went to. It is very cool to have that look, thanks for the walkthrough. There was a lot to look at.
There are different sections of many different things going on. It's a sight to behold in person. I'm sorry the video is so fast, but with so many people it's hard to be in everyone's way recording. Just wanted to give a feel of the show for people who have never gone.
Thanks for the walk through, Jason. Back in the early/mid ‘80s I used to go help a friend sell his games at a local show. I was only buying miniatures, and they were almost exclusively made of metal back then. I was buying a lot of Grenadier and Ral Partha, even back then I searched out John Dennett’s name on the package. Fun times!
@@chakrasura is right, it's a mini war gaming convention and it was the 22nd - 26th of March in Schaumberg, which is near me. CG I only talked about it the last 3 episodes :)
