Glad you enjoyed Athens. It is a beautiful and special place to me! My Appalachian roots are there. I miss home! First you were visiting my home here in Milan, MI and now you're at my home in Ohio. I'm from Pomeroy along the Ohio River and went to college at Hocking Tech. Casa Nueva and Jackie O's are some awesome food joints I went to often during my bar hopping days. In the 90's one of my brothers fell off the 50 ft cliff at Old Man's Cave and survived. I recommend checking out Point Pleasant, WV near where I was born!

Hi Scott or the Scottman, do you still have your Galaxy S10 Plus phone or did you buy a brand new Samsung or iPhone, now that we are in 2024? Your Galaxy S10 Plus, if you still have it, has been working well with no issues for 5 years.
I do! I probably will get a new phone sometime this year, but I am using the same phone from 5 years ago. I don't use it much more filming, but it still has been working quite well.
Athens is a good spot for all the hiking opportunities down in the southern part of the state without the busyness of a large city. Columbus though is a good option as a hub if you are looking to experience city life in addition to the different parks nearby.
