Starting off my first week strong 👊🏻 I was assigned call my first week (typical). Not only that, I was on call four days in a row 🤯
This was my first time staying in a call room. I live two hours away from the hospital I am working at so why not stay in a call room, right? It had its ups and downs and I was not a fan of it. I wouldn’t have an issue if it was 1-2 days but FOUR days in a row? 😫 ridiculous. Thankfully, this isn’t a busy hospital. However, I am currently searching for a place to stay in town since my call schedule is getting to be overwhelming.
