I changed the compressor oil flush it with gasoline air dry refill if it been abused like it looks all new fluids does great

Nice job I idea to paint your roliaire I found a nice durable finish I used Rusteloum Hammerite Green paint and the exhaust I wirebrush it off put the exhaust cover in a vinegar bath then I paint it 2coats of automotive 3000 degree flat black or use Rusteloum matte black

Most of the trouble I have is rust in tank and control parts rusty Compressor needs oil change at least once a year for normal folks

Some guys use these compressors heavily during the week, if not every day. They should track the hours and change the oil accordingly. Sometimes 2, 3, or 4 times a year.

I do a ton of work for one coming and they bring them in every two weeks for service The billy goats are used all week and usually change oil and air filter plus lube wheels
