As I’m sure you’re very well aware by now, unless you’re new here (hi) - I’m a massive fan of farming sim games - and seeing as you’re here, I’m uh… going to assume that you are too.
Of course, there’s one major game series we have to thank for the sheer number of titles that we have to… sink endless hours of our lives, when we’re supposed to be doing laundry… into. And that is, of course, Harvest Moon.
A solid fan favourite in the OG Harvest Moon series, is Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life; understandably, fans of this original game were pretty damn excited - if not a little anxious - when Marvelous announced a remake was on it’s way. Enter, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.
Let's take a look at some of the changes between the two releases! Is the new one much of an improvement?

I love the old and new versions of the game! When I was a kid I liked the game fine but I like it a lot more now as an adult . I do dislike some of the censoring and sanitizing they did, I didn’t like when my animals died but it made sense. it’s weird that they’re just these immortal beings now that don’t need to eat or be checked on… Though what they SHOULD have censored or changed was allowing the bull to get any adult female cow pregnant… even his own offspring. That thoroughly disgusted me when I had that happen in game.
