This just caused me to add these books to my Amazon shopping list! Very interesting.

I’ve taken a class from Claire. She’s a generous teacher. She took us to an urban river area in Denver. Not expecting much nature at all. We were so surprised. My big discovery was a wild cucumber still able to grow in an area that had been landscaped. Plus the waterfowl and the trees. Thank you for this great review.

Delightful. I was thinking that you have a great voice and expression for reading children's books and then I learn you are a Dad of girls. I hadn't heard of Clare Walker Leslie, but thanks to this, I am interested in knowing more about her. This is timely, as perhaps if we do little journal entries these days it will help us with our anxiety and fears.

very interesting book review, thorough as is all your work. Perhaps you could think about preparing a video for families to do nature journaling together close to home since most are still in restrictions related to the virus. I learned quite a bit about nature journaling from your videos, would like to see kids brought into it. kids are expected to be doing schoolwork at home could easily tie in nature studies with a bit of parental guidance, while understanding most parents are not school teachers and never imagined they would be in this situation with their own kids. Opportunity is here to get a whole generation in tune with nature, the seasons, the weather even if it is from the stoops of a city apartment.

This book is awesome, would anyone including John have a recommendation for the best " how to" nature journal book of hers of the many books of hers? This one looks great but wondering if any of the others would be even better ( more drawings and less words? ) of course her use of the words is fantastic and poetic....or maybe a better question would be , "what would be a second best choice of her books to buy"?

What was the name of the other book of hers you love? I tried to find it in the vid again
