The psalm for today, Psalm 8, has these words: "Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens... When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place..." Another pslam, Psalm 19, opens with "The heavens declare the glory of God..." with a delightful description of the sun: "In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun, It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth." Yes, Nature and Poetry go together as we know they should 🌞

Your video was so helpful while watching the eclipse from my home in Vermont. My question is at the total, I could see stars. How do I find out the names as these are the stars we do not see during the day. So. was the first time I saw those stars, ever.

Hello fellow Vermonter! During the eclipse I could also see a couple stars, and we looked it up afterward. Down and to the right we could clearly see the planet Venus, and up and to the left we could see Jupiter. Apparently there was also a comet to see next to Jupiter, but I didn't know to look for it so I don't remember seeing it.
