That was a trip down memory lane. As a family with a Scottish mother we often made this trip. A good example of the harrowing of the north with a measly single road connecting the two countries.
I'm a Scot and Cockburnspath is actually pronounced Co-burnspath, with a silent ck. I'm from Edinburgh and we have the same problem with folk trying to pronounce Cockburn Street.
I live just north of Newcastle and cringed a few times with the place name pronunciations. Fair play though - for someone to do a video like this is quite cool - it's a fascinating road, even the stretch from London to Newcastle.
Nice informative journey. Just one thing asuming the speed limit is 70mph if the majority of the vehicles are doing that, how is it possible the car being driven is overtaking quite a few?
