I've been to every Farnborough airshow for the past two decades and it still amazes me how people wander around and don't watch the runway when something magnificent like this takes off, what's the point of paying forty quid to get in then spend time eating a burger? Take a picnic get there at 8am and get a front row seat less than 100m from the runway and prepare to be deafened. I was lucky enough to see the maiden flight of the A380 at the Tolouse factory in France in 2006. It was a really rainy day and the employees of Airbus were out there too, as it lifted off at about 300mph the engines sucked in moisture and the whole crowd got drenched! One of the best experiences of my entire life.
i recently traveled Business class on this plane (Emirate A380) from Dubai to London Heathrow. This flight is the only one who worth every single penny you spend.. I would just say amaziiiiiiiiinnnnnnggggg flight. i loved its bussiness class lounge on board.
Hoooly shiiiit! That just defyes gravity there. Omg, its sooo steep after takeoff. Guess the excuse would be that its empty and very light load of fuel? Impressive nonetheless.
