Hi mate, literally just binged watched all your A45 videos! Absolutely brilliant to be fair. When you say you bought new spark plugs as it lost a slight bit of power but then later found out it was the turbo. Was it loss of power altogether or just a bit of lag at first? Also what was the rough mileage of the car when the turbo blew up 🙈 cheers mate. Your videos are class!!

Yes mate I have a gla45 and my turbo went and cost me just under £5000

First time coming across this channel fella,you seem a humble guy and I wish you the best & probably check in sometimes,but iv gotta say id not be buying spark plus and bits of eBay,the turbo is a risk but another £200 to refurbish your own would of been the better way to go as you don’t no anything on the eBay turbo,iv got a golf mk6 R iv fully forged top to bottom & running a G25-660 turbo it’ll be ready for first turn of the key in a week as soon as the meth kit has been installed,they gotta do the brake in/run in then it’s going to get the TVS software for the DQ500 DSG box then of to be mapped

hi buddy. looking at an a45 right now after selling my turbo'd gt86 a few months ago. think i will get a 2016 model as i read the gear box ratios are better to prevent the problems of the pre facelift gear box always breaking. plus now ive just seen your videos on turbo seals going on pre facelift so seems the first car has big problems. just wish the prices would be a little lower on the pre facelift lol.

I see in first video the open gate inside your turbo.if this was your problem why you don't change only this;I loosing pressure in my a45 and I find that this gate doesn't close tight. I order only this gate and maybe I change the actuator later.
