The early A45 DCT was like that. However if you get Mercedes to apply the latest software updates to the box that totally fixes it. I had mine done and it transformed the car.

I’m experiencing loss of boost at higher speeds in my A45 - motorway speeds you can feel it die off. Doesn’t happen all the time but is noticeable when it happens. Thinking it may be loose / worn wastegate but will be sure to check coolant. How much was the just the turbo repair ? Seems like a common issue the more I look into it but luckily not that expensive and relatively simple to sort.

Calvin I have a pre facelift cla45amg same engine and mine had the same common fault, it’s the wastegate on the turbos the bushings wear out causing an underboost, strangely on mine also there was no fault code or lights on dash, I had to buy new turbo as the wastegate is a complete part to the turbo but after the new one I have full boost all the time problem was solved👍🏼 ps, mine had the exact symptoms as yours gave me full power one minute (usually when cold) and the hardly any boost when warm intermittently

I can't believe that wear on the leather, my 2004 Volvo S60R with 230,000km (143,000mi) hardly has a mark and regularly gets baked in the Aussie sun. 🇦🇺
