hi, sorry for late answer. It really depends how bad is camshafts condition. In my case I drove like 2000 km, I couldn't find the issue with two mechanics, after 2000 km engine just died in the middle of the street. So it's good to check camshafts as fast as possible
Dido Atanasov depends on repair. Camshaft replacement with all necessary stuff took almost 2000€. VP44 regeneration 1000€. But in overall it's quite expensive car
Dido Atanasov if you have money, my suggestion would be to buy 1.9 TDI 130HP and chip it to 150HP. The engine is much safer, cheap and easy to fix. However nothing compares to the sound of V6 TDI :-)
