Another thing Aaliyah was almost blackballed from the industry after Rkelly. People blamed her saying she was a “fast ass” for charming him. That’s why she had to find new producers (Missy&Timb) because nobody wanted to work with her. She then took a 5 year break before coming back strong and releasing her last album. As far as the videos shoot….I also remember they wanted to leave early because the hotel didn’t have Have hot water the last day. She was over it!!!! And Dame wanted her to just come to Miami to record the remix for MTAW with Freeway & Bernie seagal An alarming thing is Barry went to court to avoid being held accountable if she were to die a week before her death. He received $90 MIL when she passed as an insurance claim! Coincidence?🤔 She was about to be outta here! Matrix 2&3 , Sparkle, RMD, QOTD, Scarey Movie (Brenda), and another I can’t remember…. Both were shot in mid-late August but Beyonce & Jay Z's had dark energy + siren vibe and a trophy on the shore, it's very telling.* Hollyweird loves to put esoteric and subliminal symbolism. He had plans. That doesn’t mean there was anything nefarious going on. In the real world, bad things happen and it’s equal opportunity. By this logic, the 8 others who perished should have chaperones or an intuition that taking that particular plane was a bad idea. It just so happen that she and her crew were involved with cheap companies who didn’t vet their pilots properly and production companies which cut corners and snagged the bigger plane (hype Williams).

Nobody has the combination of voice, dance skills, songwriting and her work ethic is unmatched. But Aaliyah had this quality similar to Rihanna that was very authentic and edgy/dark/mysterious. She was Timbaland's muse. That was enough to make it make music people felt and loved. It's kind of like Britney vs Christina. Who cares if one is the better singer... Britney had smash hits and she was smoking hot and entertaining to watch. Beyonce has done some shady things... but she is one of the best performers we've ever seen. Her vocals and technique are excellent. I'm almost a master level vocalist... I respect Beyonce a lot as a singer. And so do all the other ladies in the industry. She is NO joke. It's clear that Jay Z & Beyonce were promised fame and fortune on a higher level. But I don't think Beyonce had any part of getting rid of Aaliyah. It certainly helped Beyonce to get on top quicker so there was no competition. But it's clear Jay Z was looking for a female to join him to make a hip hop couple. I believe at one point he wanted Mya too and she rejected too. But Mya is in her own lane, while Aaliyah was filming in the matrix this would of opened more doors and give aaliyah more star power.

I’m so happy you’re doing another Aaliyah video !
@cosmicneuromelanatedgoddess
Aaliyah was a child the whole time how are we forgetting this!? Hollywood, Her parents, and everyone that was an adult around allowed Aaliyah to be around adults and-to do-adult things. This young lady did not have an child hood, the song that came out "Age Ain't nothing but a number", Aaliyah was only like 13 or 14 when she sang that song... She was a kid she was, she was not a kid at her unfortunate death, but this whole time she was child and everybody has played a role in the things that she was exposed to and that she was allowed to do that's the truth!!!

It’s so unfair what happen to her because I always knew something didn’t feel right when she “passed away”. I grew up with her music as a kid in Miami. I (Millennial 93’)showed my sisters (Gen z)her music and they remember. I miss this woman so much ❤️

My ex husband and I were big fans. Romeo Must Die was a turning point..she was on to bigger things. And 9/11 happened right after her death. She was a celebrity, not connected to my life in any way but her passing hit me hard. Her music is still on my playlist.

OMG! I was literally about to type something very similar! The year 2001 was sooo difficult for me as well. My grandfather passed & I remember all of my family finally having our 1st reunion ever & meeting my family from the Caribbean & the UK for the first time! But it wasn't the same! Then the same wk we returned, I was in my room when I was watching 106 & Park, they abruptly stopped the entire show to announce the plane crash she was in. Then unfortunately fast forward just a few wks after that, I was sitting in the nain office of my new school waiting for my paperwork to process. When an administrator came flying in the office with the TV on wheels, screaming, "Omg, a plane just crashed into the Twins towers!" That was my first day of school! My mom just decided to take me home! I will never forget it! Smh

Loveeeeee that you did this ❤ Baby Girl is R&B royalty forever. At Your Best (You Are Love) is my favorite track and the way I wanna listen to all her tracks only after the first minute. Bless you 🙏🏾✨

Not so. There are definite, obvious agendas tied to some inaccuracies said in her videos. But it’s known that people like yourself won’t research for yourself and just go with anything stated smdh
