Thank for this little sweet. This interview allowed me to see a different Aaliyah. She was very classy and professional. They do not do them like that anymore. Theses new artists coming out now have a lot to learn
Trevor Nelson is such a gentle and great interviewer. Also Aaliyah should receive more probs for being the executive producer of Romeo Must Die Soundtrack. That Album is absolutely 🔥🔥🔥. Great artists like Chante Moore, Playa, Ginuwine, Joe, DMX, Dave Hollister and on top of that her own iconic songs (Try Again, I Don‘t Wanna, Are You Feelin Me & Come Back in One Piece).
Aaliyah was a natural beauty every interviews she always looks her best the interviewer he is very genuine and gentle it is like a breath of fresh air very nicely done I love this interview.MTV was Aaliyah's second home she had fun times there, she wasn't camera shy she enjoys making music for us to groove to.She was the most respected female vocalist in history but her legacy still lives on.
Thank you for this I’ve never seen this. I always say this mtv has to have so much unreleased Aalyiah interviews and footage that the fans haven’t seen
Thank you so much for uploading this interview! She looks beautiful, as always! Such a sweet soul, gone way too soon. Rest in peace baby girl. We love you. ❤
What's funny is she hadn't even recorded with Tim (for 'Aaliyah') at this point and she said they were pushing each other. Tim's contributions were all last minute additions recorded at the top of 01.
I always assumed that she got caught up in behind-the-scenes drama between the producers and makers of the album. Tim/Missy likely felt gaslighted or lied to from their perspective, while the other players felt that there was room for everybody to contribute and it wasn't the Aaliyah x Timbo x Missy show anymore. Plus, by 2001, Tim and Missy were becoming in-demand producers and writers, so it was becoming impossible for them to be heavily involved.
@@eulonzomixes In truth, it could have been any song. Even if his songs are late additions to the album, it doesn't mean that they hadn't recorded anything prior.
