Boone actually made a real managers move when he pinch hit Wells for Trevino. Wells drew a huge walk to drive in a run and set up Rice blowing the game open. I believe having Cora in the other dugout made him make a move he never would've made otherwise. You could bet Trevino normally would have batted in that situation.

He will probably be sent down when Rizzo returns and probably “rested” today. They should DFA both Rizzo and Davis (among most of team), but they won’t.
Anybody can manage this team to where it is. There payroll is large and there is a lot of talent around like Rice. They just don't have the management to run the team right.
