Living only a few blocks from Nassau coliseum at the time I made every game or damn close to it. I had the pleasure of meeting Aaron a few times. Absolutely legit qb. His throwing motion was a bit awkward. His release was like throwing the javelin. Similar to Colin Kaepernick. but he would hang the ball just over the sideline wall 40 yards downfield we're only the receiver could get to it. One of the most accurate long ball throwers I have ever seen. Lots of fun to watch

I used to watch him play for the dragons at Nassau coliseum. I hardly missed a game in his run. Have an arena ball autographed by him as well. Good dude, great player

I do not watch football so like I gotta ask what is arena bowl vs the nfl, like different ruleset or like different kinda field?

Imagine a bunch of wild dudes from the 80s tried to make football indoors as cool to watch as they could It's a wild version of football where the field is half the length and the rules make it higher paced. So like if you don't score most possessions it is an issue. Then imagine no outta bounds there is just a waist high boards and then the front row of seats so instead of being pushed nicely outta bounds or being able to run out and avoid the hit you get thrown over a wall into the crowd. Also you can make catches while getting launched over the boards. Also kick offs get returned off of big nets to make them have random bounces and wild scrambles for the ball haha It was amazing to watch. Basically this game both offenses were perfect and just going back and forth all game and that would happen a lot making for a lot of high scoring back and forth games. Also in the end of the game you have to gain yards to keep the clock moving so no kneel downs to end the game. That and some other rules would often lead to the lead going back and forth a few times in the last few minutes.

@@randominternetguyoffical One of america's hidden treasures and the league comes back in April 2024. For sure worth looking at some highlights. This game has a full broadcast online now. look for 2011 arenabowl Jacksonville Sharks at Arizona Rattlers. It's uploaded by a channel called Arena Football TV
