Tune in to listen to Michael sit down with Aaron as they discuss a range of topics from winning last years NBA finals to what their purpose is outside of basketball.
That was cool that AG did that but I heard people got shot that night. I love AG and for that reason he should not do that again save it for the parade again coming soon June 2024 🎉🎉🎉 Let’s go!
@@RJ-im1hnPeople were EVERYWHERE down there. If he never walked around it could've still happened because it was late, people were intoxicated, and ppl were celebrating which unfortunately can be a recipe for disaster with ppl who are bound to do wrong 😔
The people that got shot didn't have nuttin to do wit the parade. It was a separate incident. If ur familiar with Denver it's pretty normal for people to get shot at regular events and celebrations.
@@RJ-im1hnpeople get shot all the time because they idiots but ain’t no one downtown at that time shooting AG and I remember When Williams of Broncos was shot but that was different situation
So proud of Aaron Gordon and what he's accomplished. Orlando didn't properly use him and it wasn't really Gordon's fault why they struggled. But Denver is the perfect fit for him
They have another number 4 pick Suggs who is basically becoming the guard version of AG They miscast him as a number one but as a 3rd 4th 5th option he is great just like AG
@@dpok5302 never said it was a bad idea, but he doesn’t have the skillset to do what they were making him do He’s PERFECT as an offball cutter, literally the best cutter in the league
You guys are such humble beasts. “Fans” these days are so shallow and critical but just know there’s a few of us who respect your talent and your grind! We’re so honored to have yall as Denver Nuggets. Blessings and peace to you, through the highs and the lows ☺️🙏🏾
@@bjrnthebootybanditnuggets swept lakers then lakers talked about how they was mad about nuggets broadcaster talking smack about them and then nuggets smacked them again so get lost bandwagon fan
As a Nuggets fan, I wouldn't trade you two for any other two forwards in the league. You both complement each other, and you both complete the team perfectly. I hope you two (along with Joker) play your entire career together the way Bird, McHale, and Parish did. We're lucky to have you.
Being a Nuggets fan has been a more rewarding experience than I ever thought possible. Not only do you guys play the most beautiful brand of unselfish basketball I’ve ever seen, but you are all so genuine and humble off the floor as well. Thanks for just being who you are and let’s keep this thing rolling! Let’s have a basketball dynasty filled with open, kind, and vulnerable men to set one heck of example of what is possible!
MPJr hit the nail on the head when he mentioned the AG - Nikola chemistry. The nuggets are one of the best squads in the NBA in years in regards to playing as a team. The team first, pass first mentality is why they're so dominant. The way everyone moves off the ball shows that everyone knows they'll get their looks that benefit the team.
I met Aaron Gordon in Prague, at the Serbia vs Poland game. I actually took a picture with him. He was such a nice guy. Great interview MPJ. Keep going. I am so proud of this team. Nugget for life. Wish you guys the best from Romania!
Watching this makes me so grateful that we have such thoughtful, bright, motivated and caring young men on our team. I want to find MPJ a nice young lady to settle down with.
Aaron Gordon is one of the highest renowned/loved Nugs players ever. My Mom, girlfriend, ex, and ESPECIALLY me love him. He seems like such a genuine person - also notice THE LADIES LOVE HIM. P.S. He got robbed in multiple dunk contests. P.P.S. All the ladies love him, and he is probably the best teammate Denver has had in a long time.
I’ve been a Miami Heat fan for 20+ years, and even though you guys whipped us in the finals, you’re the only other team I’ve ever rooted for as much as I have this year, and it’s because of conversations like these that you’re having. Keep up the good work, Mike.
This conversation was surprisingly good and uplifting. You are on the right path, boys. Stay true and if you're ok with an unsolicited piece of advice, don't practice what you don't want to become. God bless you.
I think what makes the nuggets such a great team is how humble all these players seem to be. AG literally went out the people in Denver after a win. He's grateful for his fans, and that's the energy this team gives 👏
From day one first game of AG in the nuggets you could just tell these dudes would click instantly. Blessed to have these two absolute studs as Denver nuggets. Thank you legends! 🙏
I’ve been a Nuggets fan since Larry Brown was coaching David The Skywalker Thompson played Dr J and Iceman in McNichols arena through Bobby Jones Kiki ,Melo and all the other greats. I have to say your team has made memories that will compete with those great years til I’m gone. Nikola is simply the greatest player I’ve ever seen. Been a fan since Dave Bing played watched Wilt , Bill ,Larry ,Magic , Pistol Pete and all the greatest…. He is a little bit of them all. Thanks for being the humble and great TEAM you are … you have changed this game !
The Nuggets are on such higher level than any other team.. Teams are built just like this.. These guys appreciate each other and really truly praise each other like a TRUE TEAM…If Denver keeps these guys together, they will set records… my favorite team since MJ’s Bulls..
Love you guys, your best one yet Mike. I’ll tell you something, I’m 44 and, for my wife and I, watching our Nuggets brings us so much happiness man, I have to say. To your point: I can see how athletes can be perceived as superhuman with no feelings so therefore, people think they can say whatever they want about you online and its okay. I disagree, like you said, we are all human no matter how rich or poor but like Mike said, that’s just the era we are in and if I was in your shoes, definitely limit social media. I got so depressed during Covid and the election it was ridiculous, too much negativity out there on social media even for a normal (non famous) guy like me. I’d say: You guys know who you are don’t let comments bring you down. In person vs behind a keyboard is different and to be honest, you don’t really know someone unless you speak to them in person, develop a relationship, then you can see the content of their character. Second: Mike, don’t be worried about marriage man, just because your brothers are married doesn’t make them more mature than you, when people get married young it’s a recipe for disaster they divorced 3 to 5 years later so take your time brother and pick the right one when you are ready. (Been with mine 16 years) Third: AG, I appreciate your support for people with mental health. I remember you talking about that when you first came to the Nuggets I’ve struggled with that a lot in my life and it’s nice to see an athlete such as yourself bring that up so thank you. Fourth: I wish you guys health, happiness, love, and wisdom on your way through life. Thanks for all the excitement and joy you guys bring to this Denver Nugget household. Finally: LETS GO NUGGETS!!
Thanks Mike for interviewing AG, probably the best podcast you've done. I'm sorry that sports betting has been such a pain for you guys, it's been a pain for most non-gamblers as well. I would love to see another NBA player on the podcast with you at some point!
Thanks so much for having this conversation, Michael. I don't comment on videos much but this one was special...two men at the top of their craft being real about life. Love it! Been a Nuggets fan for 40+ years and celebrate the chip with you all! Love that you're doing the hard work to figure out how to give back to the world. The world needs you to figure that out, brother! It needs all of us to figure that out!
Loving these podcasts man. Was at Mizzou same time as you, and I also live in Denver now. Makes me happy seeing you thrive, keep it up on the court and on the mic man
This is awesome. It’s really cool to see you guys so comfortable and just chattin it up. Definitely two of my favorite ballers right here. Keep doing you guys! Nuggets for life.
Probably the best episode I’ve seen, by the way. Keep doing your thing MPJ! You’re getting better and better at this. Sky’s the limit brotha! Just keep working at it and honing this craft just like you did ball.
Thanks for your style, smarts & dedication to a game that needs more gentlemen like you. Stay smart & stay safe. We love our team again. Your Championship made it SWEET. You staying true to team mentality makes it work. Enjoyed this podcast tremendously. You choose to be above by being down to earth. Admiration
You two are my favs. Thanks Michael for doing this podcast. It was great hearing what you have learned and what you see in the future for yourselves. Mr. Nugget taking it to the streets was so surprising, yet just raw and right for that moment in his life and some of the fans. I loved seeing it, yet was hoping he had some dudes somewhere there with him. I pray both of you stay healthy and you achieve what you want out of life. I am so happy you two are Nuggets and we in Denver can enjoy watching you represent our city/state. Thanks Michael & Aaron.
Insightful podcast. I enjoyed the 32 minutes of getting to know Aaron as a person, not a basketball player. I would like to see you do this interview format with Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and some of your other teammates. I am rooting for the Nuggets to repeat this year. Keep up the excellent work on and off the court.
Bless you both!!! This was one of the most insightful and interesting conversations I’ve heard from a couple of stallions in the league. Thanks for sharing your life experiences with us as you also continue to grow and mature. Much love!!!
wow i'm so happy i found this podcast, great name that stands out, and i'm glad it's not all basketball, there is so much more in life than hooping, great job and keep doing what you do mike, nuggets stars must be the humbleist guys in nba
Great interview. Really appreciate the candor you can get since you are a peer and not part of the media. AG is an amazing human, great interview. Thinking of you as you heal through your recent injury.
I love this and want to see more just like it! Thank you so much. I’m a new Nuggets fan here in Denver and just feel hungry to learn about you all! I’m so fortunate to have fallen in love with NBA because of the Nuggets, a brilliant unique special team of people.
great role models, I love u guys, I am 28 now and it's crazy to hear u guys talk. I am still struggling with the selfe development but the things u say make me realize that I am on the right way. Thank you for your hard work!
Thanks, gents. A fun, enlightening, and inspirational show. We all have difficulties in our lives, but to see how you have managed to stay grounded with all the highs and lows that come with celebrity status, show the rest of us that we just need to keep trying to do our best, no matter our situation. And, I believe that AG is going to become an, "International Man of Mystery!"
Yo this video mad wild son like yo wtf this right here is straight gold! Nothing brings more happiness to me then seeing athletes that are real genuine humble down to earth respectful God fearing men. Yo we need more men like this in the world. I hope you interview the whole team Mike this is was a gem!
Amazing podcast, it was nice hearing from the two of you. I live in Switzerland and I was in the alps this summer, it's funny to think that Aaron was there too ! It was funny to hear about my country for a bit. Shoutout to you too and the end of the podcast with the more all around question was great, it was a nice mix of on and off the court stuff, and it made me want to finish my day with this video, not scroll around anymore and go pray for a bit before resting and starting a new day tomorrow, focusing on the interior to make the exterior grow. Thank you guys !
this was a great interview. I had no expectation to be honest, sorry, Mike, but this is super good. When the career in ball is over I can clearly see you interviewing or do social stuff, dont have exact thing in mind but you are good with people and the questions were so real and so good. super good job. I bet the fact that you are friends helped too
My 2 favorite Nuggets, AG and MPJ running deep and showing why they have taken Denver by storm and are loved and appreciated, not only for their basketball abilities, but as special human beings making their way through life in positive ways!
Notes: First off, thank you guys for winning and playing tough defense and not getting discouraged during tough times. That's cool you guys both know about the "Denver Hustle" culture! Good luck on your ballin and your ventures! Big fan!
Was so happy when we moved up and got MPJ and so hype when we traded for AG Each guy has adapted to Nuggets basketball, growing and changing is so hard and these guys did and earned a chip So often people focus on one guy but basketball is a team game and these guys are so important to the team. Thank you for all the hard work, from a lifelong fan and season ticket holder.
First one I listened to. Love this interview talking purpose, living your dream, Family, God, Faith. I listen to lots of interviews in personal development space. This seriously is most real relevant, relatable pro player interview I've ever heard❣️ Great job Mike & AG! Powerful Stuff!💯
I love this. You guys are so humble and so awesome. I can't imagine the amount of ridiculous messages you guys receive. Stay awesome and get another trophy!
So refreshing to peer behind the veil and just see 2 guys in their 20s asking themselves the same life questions as every other guy in their 20s. Just two dudes you’d want to have a beer with that happen to be amazing at basketball
Love this❤ I've always said that I would love to meet AG's mom because I think her and I would get along so well. You guys are like my son's and same ages too😊
You both seem so wholesome. You are a great interviewer, too! Love that you do this. I always hope I run into one of you guys at King Soopers or something. High fives will abound. Keep up the good work on all the stuff 🙏🏼
