y’all do realize they were together since HIGH SCHOOL, waaaay before he had any money...so hows she a golddigger? she a ride or die and y’all are just stingey
Towards the end I do think she stayed and endured him cheating solely for financial gain, she did get pregnant 4 months after Arron died so to me that isn’t someone who is so in love and mourning the passing of her soulmate, they both cheated and she chose to cheat with his friends. Guess that was a part of their no questions asked relationship
@@KemiReneePiper Her being given immunity and then behaving this way is a disgrace. Use your life experiences.......shes clearly lying and helped put him away acting like that.
This trial was in 2017, they’re asking her about stuff from 2012, would y’all remember everything from 5 years ago if it wasn’t important to you at the time?
She definitely tried to cover for him but I wonder if she stopped to think maybe just maybe, she could be next if she pissed him off?? Covering for a cold blooded murderer does not make you safe from their irrational behavior
@Fun Forus that's what I'm saying...she was loyal to a man who didn't marry her, but she didn't disclose anything about the death of her sister boyfriend death? How could she be so unloyal to your sister
Nakidz just a few simple phrases "i dont know" "i dont recall" "i may have" "i dont remember" "i believe so".. also rephrase the questions that are being asked to act like youre actually considering answering but instead answer with one of the phrases up above
Unfortunately I ws the fool testifying in defense of the person that had HURT me ... and I had to pull the same crap ..the prosecution and MY OWN victims advocate were so angry with me ( and I really hated 2 disappoint the advocate she ws so right about everything in the end ) but yea she came up to me after the proceedings and congratulated me sarcastly on what she called my end goal to screw up the case as much as possible .. but I DONT REMEMBER was my go to for every question, and I've always wondered why more people forced to testify ( not that they should but for exp the lady Tanya who ws on cancer treatments and that may have resulted in her death wene she pleaded the fifth amendment, and was put in jail .. I know that my co conspirator? @ the time had discussed using this amendment I dont recall for sure that we ended up going that route as it was almost 20 yrs ago now ) I feel like I did use that 1 one for 1 of the times I did this crap on the stand but I didn't get punished in any way and it wsnt murder it was a kidnapping felony.charge that I had insisted be reduced 2 a non felony high level misdemeanor , but the thing I've wondered was if they come down harder on you if its something like a murder case... I mean his fiance got a way w the IDR monologue, but the cousin didnt , just wondering if it's betterto do this lying / IDK thing or the fifth amendment. . Looks to me like this way was the best way, I guess the cousins testimony would have been more valuable to them , and more dangerous for her ( very worthy of using the fifth and potentially saying she didn't recapl wouldn'thave worked for her since the car ws in her garage all that time ....
Say what u will but the guy was broke at this point and she was still standing by him. she might be a lying vague AF witness, but u can't argue her loyalty.
Speaking of loyalty, you do know that Odin Lloyd was her sister's boyfriend right? Her loyalty is very QUESTIONABLE. When it comes to loyalty family is always at the top over everybody else
People think it’s easy to sit there being viewed by millions I applaud her she carried her well telling truths or lies in court is not easy in that type of situation
Right!? She went from having a semi private life to being thrown into the media day after day in a negative notion. She’s poised and classy in my opinion. This judge was hounding her and she’s being clear as day. He’s trying to get her flustered but she’s just being honest. She genuinely just loved him and she wanted to be his wife. She was content with what ever happened with them and whatever she didn’t know about she just let it be. I don’t think that makes her a bad person.
@@briansniffin2719 she did not care about the victims that Aron Hernandez murdered. She lied and could not remember a thing. She could not recall. She's a liar, one day I hope she'll realized that her lies were horrible.
how she a gold digger?for yall info hes broke he has no money shes not gaining anything by marrying him.trust me i knw its ridiculous but she must really want to ride for him
Jacob Sanchez ...And as strange as it might seem to people she's been with this man since the age of 13 so in her mind he is her family whether they're married or not...
at age 13 I have not met anyone that was a given to be an NFL player .. so clearly she loved him .. I mean lets be honest here the guy is tall and good looking so maybe just maybe she was with him for more than the money people
Shayanna shows that she had a life of her own and so did Aaron. Yes she is loyal to him and why wouldn’t she. Sometimes it’s good not to know things cuz if you don’t know you can’t lie about what you don’t know . Neither confirm nor deny....🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
She seems intelligent and extremely loyal. I think she definitely watched what she said in fear of things being twisted. I really believe she was left in the dark for most of it, if not all of it. She definitely had a feeling something was wrong though and she was scared. She knows not to ask questions she really doesn’t want to know the answers to bc if she knew about anything, she’d be in an even worse situation and it would alter her reality. She has a daughter to look out for at the end of the day. And I don’t think she was in it for the money either. They’ve been together since high school, far before he blew up.
thats retorted to say because I'm pretty sure you don't even know who you're partner truly is lol everyone has a side of them they conceal from people who really know them. but it doesn't mean she doesn't know his heart
People it’s called saving your ass. She isn’t going to get locked up for his ass and their kid raised without either parents and she wasn’t going to get killed for snitching on him. That’s called survival!
Just because she says "I don't know" doesn't mean she's lying. She can either say "yes" "no" or "I don't know" I have a horrible memory and wouldn't be able to remember all of these little details that they are asking her so I would be saying the same exact thing.
Realize that you could be with someone for years and not know EVERYTHING about them. It’s possible that she really didn’t know things he was doing while she wasn’t in his presence. And to ask someone about a specific date, that was of no importance to you, you might not remember.
She received immunity, because she may have tampered with evidence. When Aaron Hernandez called and asked her to remove a box from the house that was located behind a tv in the basement (of his man cave) that may have been incriminating to his case. She claims that she thought there was marijuana in the box and that’s why she disposed of the contents in an unspecified dumpster that she can not recollect it’s location. The prosecution believes that the firearm that was used to shoot her sister’s fiancé was located in the box. Since the house was equipped with a video surveillance system, she was seen on camera receiving the phone call, going down into the basement and returning with a box that she is later seen exiting the patio door. Her sister, who was grieving and visiting with her at the time, also witness these course of events; which she testified in court as “secretive” behavior. These are the facts. Anything and everything else is speculation. In light of the circumstances, their long term relationship and a child that will someday have to process all this information. - I think that he kept her involvement to a minimum. His “man cave” and questionable associates is something she tolerated. She was a girl from the projects/hood, who elevated her social standing, but she also turned the other cheek when it came to the “street game”. As long as he was showing up for work and keeping his end of the deal - like she stated “you pick your battles” in a relationship. - I feel that she testified with great composure and mindfulness. Ascertaining that her testimony will do the least amount of harm to her fiancé/the father of her child
Aaron & Shayanna were def. not in a romantic relationship. He was her meal ticket (she obviously wasn’t going anywhere) & she was his beard. What a dream come true!
I bet the lawyer asking her the questions might be like.. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU REMEMBER in all your years with Mr. Hernandez. ?!?!?!!! I don't remember!. hahahha
No offense, but she is NOT responsible for anyone's actions but her own. Aaron is the reason her sister cries. However, her loyalty to him and lying under oath (let's face it, she absolutely lied with the many "I don't recall" & "I don't remember" answers), that would bother me if she were my sister. That was a completely separate trial though. That was his first murder conviction. This trial was for the double homicide that occurred before the murder of Odin Lloyd. Had police caught him sooner as the suspect in that case, maybe Odin would be alive today. Who knows. Sad to see someone like Aaron being given the opportunity of a lifetime and throwing it all away. Unfortunately his demons were much stronger than him.
I can barely remember what I ate in the morning so I’m sure having to be exact on certain situations years later doesn’t work for me as well. Unless I actually cared about it. And how is she to know she should care about this for the future.🙄 she’s fine to me lol
@@sanjemy1 Thank you! I have a great memory but on details that aren't important to me... Why would I care to remember. " Oh let me note this to myself for later cuz my fiance is gonna get in trouble later" Come on.. Ppl that do that are controlling if they ask details for every little thing.. Sheesh
How she was able to get up on the stand and blatantly lie without penalty is amazing. The location of the dumpster that she ditched that box in was the end for me. Why she wasn't charged with obstruction is beyond me. Can't remember where she threw it out, didn't look in it. All lies. Not a person in this world who wouldn't have looked in the box they were told to get rid of.
She was arrested at the very beginning and released.... she played that stand like 30 year veteran actress.... very professional very pretty and extremely careful
If you all may notice this woman makes so many facial expressions and mouth movements to every question she is asked to throw people off as to pretend she doesn't really know anything. She knows everything about Arron and his friends and his family. She just doesn't want to be charged with any crime(s) involved with Hernandez.
This prosecution team continues to be an embarrassment to our legal system, they went out of their way to force this woman to testify, yet another witness that has no evidentiary value to the case, asking stupid questions like how big the house is and how much money his contract is worth, blah blah blah... I get why the defense might be a mockery to our legal system but the bar is high for the prosecution team.
Galol Galol yeah I'm hoping the victim's families gets justice but the prosecutors are dropping the ball going too far off base they have made the trial into Bradley's shooting now stupid witness testimony until I freaking forgot about Daniel and Safiro being shot down lk dogs I sure hope this dont cause the jurors to come back with a hung juror or worst not guilty
rashonda paige - Exactly Roshanda, I want justice served here, but the prosecution team is providing enough reasons for a hung jury or verdict reversal on appeal. My only guess is that their strategy is to preemptively call these useless witnesses, give them immunity so that the defense does not use them as their "star" witnesses, what does the young man who was AH personal assistant had to offer to the case, nothing, even their so called expert witnesses, many of them offered no evidentiary value other than speculations and anecdotal scenarios. The body diary theory floors me.
The prosecution could have cornered and trapped her on so many evasive answers, but just let her go about and say "I don't know/recall/remember". Pathetic
He had a good women and a baby girl. He had opportunities to make a lot of money to support his beautiful family. He did nothing but ruin it! He failed his women! He failed his daughter! He’s a failure! Period!
Surprised that the state did not stipulate her as being a hostile witness. Her smile does not mask her hostility. She knew what was in the box as well as the dumpster she dropped it in. She knows what AH did to AB as well as she knew what happened to OL. If the state has her on the witness stand to hurt AH, they're brilliant. AH will not join Casey A. in Florida for drinks with Mr. Baez.
Watching this & the Dr. Phil interview she did after he died makes me think this girl is lying about stuff it just doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't you want to know what you were getting rid of? The whole situation is weird but then again that is her man & she has to stick by him 🤷🏾♀️
I'd guess there was plenty she didn't know or really care to know throughout her life with the accused. Knowing she was his longtime girl friend, prior to his success, has substantial meaning , in my opinion. That they never married could be relevant for unknown reasons. Sad story all around , obviously and especially for those murdered and their families.
“A grown man doesn’t ask for permission” LOL! In every other case a “grown man” would ask the mother of his child and fiancée if he can take go to Florida with his boys for no reason.
@@caithlyne7085 not even let her know, ask if she has any issues with it…just like she should have done - 50/50 partnership, but it sounded like they were roommates and she got free rent
Ok but you guys will never bring up how obvious it was Aaron Hernandez did not deserve her loyalty.. “Them strippers look better than my wife” you guys really supporting her for not being a snitch. She deserved so much better...
She's pretty. I see why he was with her. But he left her in the dark about the stuff he did and I think it was a way of protecting her. Not knowing the bad he did kept her from being arrested.
My gosh! Someone should had given the person coughing in the background a bag of cough drops. She coughed through the entire interview, very distracting.
loyalty?? I mean come on ..he murdered people ...just because they thought they were rich, famous and untouchable. Bump that!! She needs to be right where he was ... and obviously by his recent suicide .. guilt ate his ass up. It's one thing to be loyal and another to be an accessory to murder and help clean up his messes. Why does he get to decide who lives and who dies??
She needs to be put in jail...maybe it will help her memory... he signs a 40 million dollar contract.. and she wasnt aware of it.. she knew though how to spend his money.... though
He went out to nightclubs.. but she didnt know what time he gets home... she looked at him...and he knew to remove a gun... what a lier she is... cant beleive a word she says...
Well, in her defense…. She was cheated on many times. She was probably exhausted from lying so much. She felt betrayed in many ways, but still stayed loyal, and took his calls.
Her loyalty is on a thousand trillion. All Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez can do is visit Aaron in prison, hold his hand and give a closed mouth kiss. No conjugal visits are allowed unless the guards look the other way. Blankstare but OK.
Question: I noticed the lawyer referred to her as Ms Jenkins-Hernandez, that is not her legal name, or wasn't at the time, does that affect anything or can I ask the Court to refer to me as whatever I want?
she had actually changed her name to hernandez , even though they werent married or evrr got she had changed her last name so she could have the same last name as her daughter
I doubt she knew anything about his illegal activities or to the extant in which they'd become.. Why would he involve her and his daughter? He was young, paranoid and immature. He was taking care of their daughter. That was her main focus as it should be.
Corinne Vincent exactly and I believe that Bradley was shot in Florida for something he did and all transpired at the last bar they were at and I think Aaron took off because he didn't want to get involved Bradley seems to be a troublemaker and I think he acted tough in front of Aaron hoping that he would back him up this is why Bradley didn't go to the police because Aaron didn't shoot him and he didn't want to tell the police what really happened as far as his cell phone goes I think that that was stolen when he got shot and he was not shot in a car he was shot in the alleyway somebody followed him from the bar and also he's the one that shot those two guys in Boston there's no way that Aaron leaned over the seat and Shout out of the window it was Bradley that killed those two guys
He didn’t tell the police because there is a no snitch code. You probably don’t understand how that works. Also trouble seems to follow AH everywhere he goes, even when Bradley was not with him. Bradley was not around when Ah killed lloyd
If what she says is true....this sounds more like an abusive or a business-type of relationship. If true, she was fine living in his nice home, cooking, cleaning, and keeping her mouth shut. Sad.
@@melizc8785 - it did cause extra damage. She states she "disposed" of a suspicious garbage bag from her home but doesn't remember where she disposed it. If you don't at least sound credible in your testimony, the negative testimony will hurt the case. The jury didn't believe her. Thats the goal.
