I’ll be honest I don’t think he’s worth $300 million because of his injures given Yankees aren’t good at making sure players are healthy but I’d say 2-3 year deal with a high AAV would be worth it so he can prove he does deserve the money because he can stay healthy and play a good long season and if he can stay healthy for all those years or at least only miss a couple of games due to injury then yes he will be worth $300 million

30 million a year for 7 years guaranteed is low, the issue is he’s a non factor defensively. So you’re paying for his bat and he’s a consistent 5-6 WAR a year player with his bat. So is Bryce Harper, so is Mike Trout among others. 35-40 a year for 6-7 years is about the most he’s realistically going to get and anyone who offers him more time or money is thinking with something other than math.

@@arda8393 He’s a Yankee, people hate the Yankees. He plays mostly at Yankee stadium, it’s one of (if not the) smallest parks in the league, so fans believe his HR stat is inflated because of that. @@arda8393 A lot of people are mad that he’s a Yankee. Other people are mad that the story got this much coverage in the US (usually non baseball fans that are mad that baseball is getting any coverage at all). The video mentioned that sports networks were cutting in and out to watch Judge’s AB as he got close to the records, so people were mad that their football game was interrupted to show a guy getting walked on 4-5 pitches. Other people are mad that it isn’t breaking Bonds steroid fueled record. And some people are just haters that used the Yankees not winning it all as an excuse to hate
