I love how he lights up a cigarette on stage and talks to the crowd. He makes me feel like I'm sitting in his backyard after a barbeque and he just picks up a guitar and starts playing this song he wrote and wants to know if I like it or not. Are you kidding me or what? Just flat out awesome.
Aaron IS The Real Deal! He Just Loves Music 🎶 and Wants to Share it with Those who Love 💗 it Too! I Knew him before he was famous. One of the most down to earth real guys I ever knew! Tells it like it is.
He Loves his fans & deep down he’s still that same young man that just loves to write music, 🎶 play his guitar and sing 🎶 & he knows it’s all his fans that brought him to be the star 🌟 he is today!!!
I love this song. Love his voice. This song is me. My battle with drugs and alcohol has taken me on a wild destructive ride. Being sober is hard, but so worth it. The fact that I’m still alive is a miracle. I am thankful.
Been clean off Xanax since 2017. Still think about it every. day. But it does get better. It’s such a feat in my eyes and everyone around me. Keep going everybody. It’s worth it.
My brother lost his battle with addiction 3 months ago..he was only 24 years old and struggled his entire life it seems...I think of him every time I hear this song...your sobriety is worth it guys..don't leave people who love you wondering what they could have done differently ...because it will haunt me til I die
Right there with you brother. I'm glad you're still here. I'm glad you're sober. 2 1/2 years clean from drugs, and 1 1/2 years sober from alcohol and still going.
He is the most down to earth genuine guy youll ever meet. I grew up with him he called when he first hit it big he was on tour with korn but with all him fame we havent talked in years
Parents: where you been? Kid: Aaron Lewis concert Parent: It’s 3am don’t lie Kid: but I really was Aaron lees always talks for like 3-10 minutes before every song
I had a friend who had cancer he passed at 16. I will forever be grateful to Coldplay, his favorite band, they met him and even wrote a song for him. Thank you
I attended his show every year, this man knows how to sing, play guitar, put on a show, and interact with the fans. His encore is the fucking greatest!!
Damn, i remember listening to this when i was high school, its sooo much better all these years laters that slide guitar goes with this song like chips with salsa
Aarons music and performances help me out when it feels like life is strangling the light away. Its incredible how powerful true music and genuininity can go.
Anyone else feel like reaching into the monitor and strangling the obnoxious people who can't shut their mouths for 2 minutes while he introduces a song? Good Grief!
Hey dude from 7 years ago. There's a virus happening now in 2020. You'll see and you'll miss those crazy screams before and during a song. This is the closest we have to a real concert right now!!
@@jonwojcik4494 I know I went to a drive in for a garth Brooks concert and I found out that the shit was pre-recorded in Pennsylvania and was only live there. I paid 160 bucks for that shit
@@BeanDip47 Hi Roman, 🤯 Did you think he would be there live with the screen up to see? That's what I would have thought for $160. So he wasn't there, wtaf
Soundtrack 2001 when i first hung out with my future husband, we both were heart broken on the mend..years later we re- acquainted and discovered we were in love and this is our anthem. Best song ever. Thanks Aaron
Aaron you touch my soul,I've f up a lot of stuff, but now God's running the show and I'm making a come back...thank buddy you rock can't wait to see you live..I'll be there .
I remember going to staineds first tour in the uk to promote the debut album, god damn still one of the best concerts ive ever been to, aarons voice was and still is fucking brilliant, i need to see this legend on stage again
I really don't understand his speech about "no one listened to this song." Everyone I knew listened and we loved it. He was in a huge influential band in the 90's and early 2000's. We all listened and loved his songs. If anybody wasn't listening before it was these country concert fans that he now panders to and regurgitates the same "emo" songs with a slide guitar and now they think he's great. Staind was amazing. I dont know what I'm seeing now except a business model pivoting.
He has country in his blood as well. I, honestly enjoy both genres. He is an amazing singer I'll listen to either or. I mean I love the rock way more, but everyone takes there own path.
I think this is far far better than the generic sounding rock of that time. The dudes playing and singing his soul out. Very powerful and personal performances. But I guess say this is a marketing pivot.
I saw an acoustic show here not to long ago at a bar i was at and I listened the hardest to the songs that the guy said we're originals. They weren't very good but still I have a complete passion for music and so much respect for people who write their own music. The opening speech gave me so much hope for the future. Here's to hopin someday people will listen to me too. good on you Aaron.
This song still bring tears to my eyes of such memorable times in my life, and damn its been a while since then, Aaron lewis God bless you brother you are so talented and gifted, you are a huge inspiration for me
I Listened to You, Aaron, on Orlando St, as you Scratched new songs 🎶 on your legal note paper! I ALWAYS Knew You Had Something Special in You! I’ll Never Forget the day you drove up to my house 🏡 when I was Mowing my lawn & I was in my bikini top and shorts & you in your “Gig” van. You couldn’t wait to tell me about your new band members, your demo & that things were about to get Big Fast BC you met someone that believed in you! Y’all shot up like a rocket 🚀! I’m So Proud 🥹 of you (all) and That you Never gave up on your Dream! God Bless You 🙏
This is true emotional honesty right in your face to the very end and then some got to shake this man's hand in 03 on the 14 shades of gray tour with guest openers cold I was 17 with my brother at the time and best friend and his girl truly once in a life time experience helll yeah!!
I met his Aunt Jeannie had a kid rock show. She sent me also it's a cool s*** autograph. I met her in the beer line and my wife didn't believe it was his manager. Till about a month later when all the boxes of stuff showed up in my house. Thanks Aaron.
