If anybody doesn't know the story behind this song, here you go. .. This song is about a teenage kid who took his own life out of depression and misunderstanding.. then his mother devistated, confused and lost went out of her way to find Aaron Lewis and ask Aaron why her son committed suicide. This is because the kid loved staind and she found him still listening to their music at when she found him. She wanted to know if Aaron knew why her son killed himself. That's the gist of it, it's not quoted perfectly, buy that pretty much the story if I remember correctly . I read about it from one of his interviews more than a decade ago. The song hits you Alot harder, once you listen closely and know the back story.

haha, I wondered why he paused: he's too awesome, man--he totally picks it back up, oh so nonchalant. XD This is one of my absolute favorite Staind songs, and Aaron is totally amazing & hilarious. :D
This song would be right up there with Jeremy from Pearl Jam as it’s kinda got the same meaning in some ways, it’s pretty dark and really hits hard when you’ve gone through or know someone who’s gone through the same shit
