What y'all fail to realize that Eli has an all-time playoff record is 8-4, including wins over Rodgers in the nfc championship game, which Eli is 2-0. And that includes wins over Tom Brady twice and out played Tom twice in both SB. Rodgers has 12-10 all-time playoffs and 1-4 in the championship games. So, in reality, I'd take Eli over Rodgers if I want a better chance at winning it all. But for the regular season, I'll take Rodgers.

Mike overstates the Orioles-Yankees thing. From the late '90s until a couple of years ago the Yanks destroyed the O's, especially at Camden Yards. The '60s and '70s are irrelevant as far as the current teams go. The Red Sox have never bothered the Yankees??? From 1967-1975 the Sox bothered the Yanks a lot. Same in the last 20 years.

Absolutely. Mike wants to dismiss the Red Sox since he hates 🔥 them. The 0-3 comeback in '04 was embarrassing for the Yankees. They were embarrassed in '18 by Boston, remember Game 3? 18-1. Mike completely dismissed that game the next day, as he so often does. In '21 Boston pounded Cole. Not to mention, 4 World Series wins over the last 20 years for Boston

Thanks to George Steinbrenner and his GM Gabe Paul with his connections to Cleveland made some great trades to overhaul the team. Plus when we traded Bobby Bonds to the Angels for Rivers, Figueroa and a reliever. The only sad part regarding Bobby Bonds was that we traded Bobby Murcer in December of 1975 to SF for Bonds.

I’m not excusing particularly the optics/leadership issues. but minicamps amounts to a few extra days of OTAs and he was at every day of OTAs prior to this. It’s awful PR and leadership by Rodgers. But if puts up the numbers most of all wins comes Sept & Oct no one will give a s-t about him missing a few days of no-pads 7 on 7 practice.

Just before Rodgers went down with his injury, it looked to me like he was an old man in the pocket and now, many months later, I can't see him developing any improvement in his ability to move around. Once the defense knows he will be in a specific location continuously they will tee -off on him and I see him going out with another season ending injury quite soon after he comes back.

Bad optics by Rodgers. But minicamp is just an extension OTAs which is no pads essentially a passing camp. And he was there every day of OTAs. No one will give a shit if he missed a few days of this if he puts up numbers most importantly wins come Sept & Oct.
