We’re just 6 days away from the NFC Championship on FOX, where two living legends will go toe-to-toe. While Tom Brady has 6 Lombardi Trophies and 4 MVP awards, Green Bay Packers' QB Aaron Rodgers is no slouch either. He’s expected to win his 3rd MVP this season but has only gotten to 1 Super Bowl in his 16-year career. Hear who Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe believe is the better QB: Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers?

Yeah funny ain’t it how a team that’s literally irrelevant for over a quarter of a century is still being talked about??? If I were the person controlling any of these shows I would set guidelines that clearly state that they r nit to talk about any team that’s nit involved in current events I.e. the current playoffs! Tom Brady has 43 postseason starts and his defense has allowed 30+ points fewer times than the Packers defense with Rodgers....even though Rodgers has less than half the starts... Packers have never scored fewer than 20 points in all his playoff games. Brady won 2 superbowls scoring Rodgers minimum points or less. Brady's defense has allowed 20 points or less in over 50% of his games. Rodgers would have the same success with that Patriots defense. 🤷‍♂️

@@josephmuller8300 Nah, you're just a hater. They're all team stats, QBs aren't pass blocking and throwing to themselves out there. Every passing yard or touchdown is a team accomplishment. That is why leadership and execution matter more than arm strength and talent. And every team cheats, learn a little history.
@CranberryCoke
@CranberryCoke 3 года назад
@@josephmuller8300 No I'm completely right and you're completely wrong if you think leadership is meaningless at the QB position. Buy a television. The great defenses argument is meaningless as defense is heavily dependent on the other two phases of the game. The Patriots had probably their best defense ever in 2019 but it didn't matter because the offense was putrid. Ultimately, none of this is going to bear clinical scrutiny, it's a bargument. But what I do know is this, there really isn't a debate among the guys who played the game, especially current hall of famers. Brady's the GOAT, no players resume compares to his.
@CranberryCoke
@CranberryCoke 3 года назад
@@josephmuller8300 The cheating thing is always so funny to me. Are you really this ignorant of NFL history or do you have a selective honor code and points system. Is Peyton your guy? Your argument was a little rambling im trying to make it out. Both of the teams in the superbowl the year Peyton won with the Broncos had very good defenses. Players of Peytons stature have an aura about them which makes even their defense play better, you bet your arse they do, just ask the Buccaneers. If you have played team sports competitively or near professionally you understand that its extremely physical and we are animals. The status of the top member of the pack is reflected in every member of it. I'll never take anything away from Peyton, love the guy. Its difficult to imagine a set of criteria where his career would be equal in overall greatness to Toms. And Peyton absolutely cheated, but here's the thing, nobody cares about the cheating stuff except people who somehow convinced themselves their team never took steroids. It is sanctimonious and boring conversation. Peyton was f-ing awesome. It doesn't take anything away from his talent, in my eyes, if he was taking hgh in packages sent to his wife just to get back on the field for another year or two. And does it really matter that Peyton never won a Superbowl until his teams owner pushed the rules committee to call more illegal contact penalties because Peyton just couldnt beat the Patriots? It doesn't really, they exerted their influence and they got theirs. But please don't act like these things didn't happen. This is the arena, this is our nations blood sport, these are our gladiators, come off it. And really, whining about the officials? That's beneath you.
