Tom Brady struggled in his first game with Antonio Brown against the New Orleans Saints last night. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers put up only 3 points against the Saints 38 and Brady threw 3 picks with just over 200 yards while being sacked 3 times. They have their runs in the regular season when they look unbeatable but come playoff time they look flat and end up underachieving. Last season vs Minnesota I feel the play of the game was that red zone fumble the year before a terrible no PI call but in overtime Brees threw a bad INT that set up the game winning field goal and the Minneapolis Miracle before that. I do think the Saints are the favorites out of the NFC because Seattle is still awful on defense and Green Bay still hasn’t figured out it’s run defense woes from last season.

Smart people actually never discarded that possibility because when you look at bradys career his wins havent been predicated on him playing well, theyve been predicted on getting consistently lucky on key situations and getting bailed out on 90% of clutch moments (tuck rule, malcolm butler int, cooper kupp injury in 2018 super bowl, edelmans luckiest catch ever vs falcons, chiefs injured o line, rodgers not running the ball on 3rd down, brees throwing 3 ints, terrell owens being injured, etc.)

BB put system around Tom that he could execute consistently that worked with the defense in tandem. BB always has special plays on defense that he could pull out of a hat to bring pressure in critical moments of games with about 90% success rate it's very rare that they lose close games.
