Part with the blind guy was hilarious and Aaron kept his cool, amazing considering it was his first time on TV. Definitely be watching more of his stand up!
I have CP too and I watch most of Russell's videos anyway but when I saw this title I was like "well that's a must watch!" And it was fantastic, I want to find more comedy from this guy if possible.
I wanna hear the joke we missed out on when that wall got in the way. Start a routine with disability gags, and then run into a BETTER disability from your chosen foil...kind of killed the jokes.
Disabilities don't necessarily make someone less attractive. He's definitely a good looking guy and his sense of humour makes him even more attractive 😂
I like how the camera man keeps going back to Blindguy Toby to show he's laughing at all the jokes. Wow, it's like disabled people have a sense of humor! wooow!
Honestly disabled people often have the darkest sense of humour about their own disability 😂 It's somewhat of a coping mechanism but also, you can't take yourself too seriously lmao
I used to work with a guys with CP, he is also a stand uo coimedian called Ben, such a awesome fella. Anyway, we were out one time and he smoked for the first time and he said how he could put his feet up on the car dashboard and no be in pain. First time i've ever seen someone with a disability have their symptoms lift...it was actually beautiful. This guy is a legend too. Im sorry his juggling career was cut short so soon.
ive just tried watching this guy on his show disabled coconut, i managed about two minutes, during which time i think he mentioned having cerebral palsy about 6 times, i gave up. now, before people start getting gobby and shouting odd words like DISABLEIST!! at me, i should say i was also born with a disability, spina bifida, never done that walking thing i hear so much about, not without the aid of calipers and crutches anyway, (gave up on those years ago, give me a wheelchair any day over going round looking like some sort of hammered robocop,) so i'm not being prejudiced, i just didn't find it funny, the embarassed laughter from the audience was, well, embarassing, for starters if i was a stand up comedian (id call myself the ironic stand up) i wouldn't base my show just on my disability, its not all i am, there is so much more, and stand up would be a good way to show that.
An absolute Chad! I always had the highest respect to those who'd life have dealt an unfortunate card, and instead of feeling sorry, can take a joke, but above all take that shit to the next level giving it the mightiest of middle fingers. Absolutely fantastic comedian!
I hate the women who come up to you when you are out asking if you 'want to dance'. When you tell them you can't. Then finally drop you have CP they kind of scurry away. Although it's often just quicker to tell them I'm gay
The girl next to Toby needs to stop touching her mask, goddammit. I mean, it seems to me no one else was wearing one, so it's clearly not mandatory in this venue, so whatever her reason is she seems to HAVE one and is taking it seriously... and then she keeps touching her face... UGH! Might as well not wear one at that point!
