I saw a video of Aaron Tveit explaining how they did his death scene. He was obviously on a harness, and he actually fell backward and had to stay there for 3 minutes straight while they did the flyover of all the bodies.
@@oliviapetrowski4553 Yeah I've seen that too, I'd just like to see a video of it. I've heard something about in one take George put his arm around Aaron as they died like in The Brick when they hold hands, but I don't remember where
か か seriously! they completely missed the part where they died holding hands. that was such an important part in that scene. they even cut out grantaire’s “vive la république » :/
yurochka plisetsky fun fact, they didn’t cut e & r dying holding hands, george ( who played r ) was too scared to ask, so simply went with touching aaron’s upper arm 😂🤷🏼♀️
@@amazingspiderlad Of course! I am agreeing with you here, I am also pointing out that in the book Marius was the last one to join the group, and as a friend of Courfeyrac, not Enjolras, but I think you are totally right
3:10 woW okay so they filmed Grantaires verse in drink with me but they didnt put it in the film nor did they release it after production?? thanks tom hooper!
If they make a full jazzy Bring Him Home cover I swear I will be there to watch it, listen to it, buy it, share it, and support it in any way possible.
Are you kidding me? They filmed the drink with me solo and just CUT IT OUT? Straight up cut it? It's not even that long, they could've left it in and the time would've been fine. Wow
for real; i just don't understand why they cut it. it's such an integral part of grantaire AND the fears of the students, and george sang it beautifully.
2:56 meant to be casually pretending to be dead on the floor but actually break out in full song (I need a full cover of the students singing bring me home 😂 💖)
Kylie Chan it’s not an Enjoltaire ship thing, it’s a Brick thing. I don’t really ship them either but it was a big character moment for Enjolras and Grantaire for different reasons.
Unless George or Aaron stated otherwise somewhere, I'm pretty sure they weren't holding hands at the end. I've looked pretty closely because I was looking for it.
@@dmiracomeny5511 George said years ago that they weren't holding hands, but that his arm went behind Aaron's back (which you can kind of, sort of, see if you look at the scene very, very closely).
to everyone saying enjolras and marius aren't friends: i'm pretty positive aaron said he read the book (maybe multiple times i don't really remember) but i'm guessing tom hooper wanted to portray them as closer than they are in the book so aaron says they're friends in reference to the movie, not the book
omg thank you i was thinking the same thing but he was in the book they just weren't close friends ever marius was always friends with Courfeyrac i think
i only saw the movie, never read the book and havent seen any theatre production and it really come across as if they really were close (friends) so i was kinda shocked when i read that in the book that was different
2:56-3:04 So I can't really tell but I'm pretty sure that's Killian Fra and George all singing 'Bring him home' but like jazz style....Obvs I know that one of them is deffo George. I'm just guessing with the other two.....
Aaron Sweetheart, I love you, but did you prepare for this role via sparknotes? Your performance was so compelling and made my heart ache but when did you think Enjolras liked Marius
okay so when the 10th yr anniversary of les mis movie (2012) comes can they atleast release the uncut version of grantaire’s drink with me AND the barricade boys’ cover of bring him home ???? i’m begging
So I just recently discovered Jamie moscato via heathers and moulin rouge, crazy that he’s in this considering how many times I’ve watched it and never noticed him
Also Enjolras is romantic?! Where did you get you information, tumblr?? And Aaron, we love you, but Enjolras and Marius are not friends, we can tell you didn't read the brick.
I think they meant that Enjolras is a lover of liberty or he’s romantic about justice? Like he has romantic ideals about freedom and liberty? Or that he’s passionate about it. I just think they didn’t word it right. But I agree with you about Aaron saying Marius and Enjolras are close friends.
