Such beneficial info in today's video, and a big thank you to dearest Chatty, Scatty, your didi & brother in law for sharing every detail & aspect of Installing a Heatpump Furnace/AC. So, I had learnt about these energy rebates on heat pumps in mid of 2023. It was through a kind sales rep who explained the types of heatpumps too. The basic one being $10,000 and $26000 for the top of the line one. I found the top one to be a total rip off, and at that point in time I chose not to go ahead with either of the heatpumps based on 2 reasons. 1) My curremt Furnace & AC are thankfully still in working condition, so why invest a huge chunk of money just because of rebates when my current furnace is only 9 years old. My bill is 80/90 for Hydro, 90/95 for Gas. Therefore I didn't see a point, buying another expensive new equipment and throwing away my current expensive & working investment. I know, government is always offering rebates every now & then. So I'll wait. Secondly: I didn't want to rush into something, without enough reviews on it based on our Ontario climate, from our fellow Ontarians. Your brother in law's review is a great beginning, and again thankyou for covering this topic. God willing, maybe in couple of years, if reviews by other Ontario residents are great, I shall then waste no time in purchasing it myself P.S. Alarming increase in Carbon Taxes sure is worrisome.
Very good information u always given to us thank you for this ,love your videos, please ek video canada ki sabse badi gold robery ke bare mai bhi banaye
This is being still tried and tested. Not huge cost saving initially but maybe over a period of time...... there was a hype over electric vehicles but that has also slowed down. People are not buying much EV but Hybrids are a big hot selling cake. But anyway a unique vlog.
Sunny bhai this unit is called VRF (Variable Refrigeration Flow) easily available in India Since 2004. It saves approx 40% power bill compared to Conventional AC Systems.
Watched your very good (as usual) and informative video today. I wanted to correct some facts as I have both heat pump and solar panels. Heat pumps are more efficient at higher outside temperatures and the efficiency starts to drop as the outside temperature drops below 5 Deg C. Thus in Ottawa with cold winters, it won't be that efficient. The price of Gas is always cheaper but carbon tax is making it very expensive. Electricity is cheaper in Ontario due to the huge provincial government rebate. A heat pump takes a longer time to heat the home as the temperature rise is not as high as with a gas furnace. My system bypasses the heat pump and runs the furnace when it sees the home temperature not going up at the desired rate. Solar panels are certainly good but be mindful of non sunny and shorter days in winters.
My brother lives in California and suffered from polon allergies a lot... But consistent use is gud dose of Vit C over a long period alongwith Citrus fruits and Amla has helped him by 80 percent today... Maybe it can help you too..
