Just got mine out of atf jail after almost 17 months (had to literally call my congressman). Tested it on a direct blowback pcc, non-tilting barrel semi auto 9mm pistol, and subsonic only 300blk. Plenty of unburnt powder with the pistol, sounded great with the pcc (no gas to the face) and when put head to head vs a heavy precision 30 cal can, the 300blk sounded superior with the F4L and still zero gas the the face even in the indoor range. Interestingly, though it's a low back pressure can, the 300blk would cycle with the F4L but not the heavy 30 cal can which is high back pressure. No regrets, i love this thing.

I’d really like to see a 350 legend rating with these modern 9mm cans. Hornady has recently launched the 250 grain Sub x and it’s looking like the ammo industry is catching up as far as trends in the marked.

What i would love to see is them combining both into one. Give us the full length version, but with the ability to take off a few baffles so we can use it as a K can or on a pistol.

So they didn't make it 1.375x24? I hope they change that. Be nice to use any adapter you want. If they did I'd probably get my next couple cans from them. I really like their reflex cans and how low cost they are.

When are you going to take a look at Otter Creek Labs stuff? Their cans are pretty good. The lithium 9 and polonium are on my buy list.

I spoke to AB on the phone about getting an F4 in 5/8×24 for my Henry Big Boy X 357. They said they'd make it at no extra charge, but with no warranty due to the possibility of it being put on a 308 and getting destroyed.

Thanks for the review and thank you to AB for actually looking at the comments on this video. The one and only thing stopping me from buying this can is the fixed mount. I love AB products and wish they got the attention they deserved. I have an AB Raptor 10 in 7.62 and a Little Bird and I'm looking for a 9mm can. My first choice would be another AB can but the lack of uses with the fixed 1/2x28 really kills it for me. I want my 9mm to double as a backup for 300blk and maybe even some 38 special lever fun which this can is rated for but can't do because of the mount. Make this to be used with the Raptor Adapter and you have a winner and I will order one the same day. Hell, I'll make the 3hr drive up to KS and come give you cash (so you can form 3 it to my dealer)!

I’ve heard that before about cleaning a can by shooting 556 and “burn it out “ but it’s hard for me to believe that would work

If you walk through a creek it will have a muddy bottom in some places. This is where the normal flow drops junk it has carried from upstream. The water will be relatively clear water. When it floods that crap will be stirred off the bottom and the water will be come turbid. Same concept.

@@VSO_Gun_Channel well would that not have potential for anything to block bullet path and cause the bullet to potentially exit the tube or at least a blockage that could cause a baffle strike
