finally .....I appreciate your work ethic in restoring these older cars rather than junking them. There are plenty of drivers who only need a car for local trips.

I love the fact it's going to a good home and it's going to be a father son project and you are so right you could have made a lot more off of it. But at the end of the day I think you sold a lifetime of memories to a couple of people and that sir you cannot put a price on. This is why I absolutely love your channel. G'day from OZ, this truck is just the sort of vehicle to import into Australia. Shipping out of a Texas port is about $2500. It would need to be steam cleaned so not a bit of mud is left due to bio-security. It would be so popular and valuable over here. I enjoyed watching this truck more than some $100,000 supercar. Chap that owns the Auto Spa is a car guy. He was all over the truck and he seemed to be enjoying what he found. The $500 was well worth it to save the time capsule truck. I guessed what it sold for but it was going to great new owners and your right, never sell them until they are finished. That's been my experience and more than once.

Out standing work on the F150

I bought my '99 F350 (4wd, Super Duty, long bed) from a buddy's dad's estate for half of book. Did a Line-X bed liner, AVIC nav system/head unit, stripped to metal and painted, pulled the windows, all new body seals, Bilstein shocks, Rotor Pro rotors, Akebono pads, new calipers & hoses, tinted windows, BFG All-Terrain K0-2 tires, poly bushings & Moog HD end links, all consumables under the hood replaced, all-aluminum radiator, new injectors...it's great, all in at about $17K

You have a peculiar taste in vehicles, I love it.

The f150 came out looking amazing! This was the one that I was most excited for. I'm a truck guy so I was all over this one as soon as you announced that you won it. Maybe you could get the gentleman who bought it to send you pictures and updates on the progress of what they do to it. I think we'd all like that. I sure hope they retain most of the originality and just add to it tastefully.

I was working at a Lincoln/Mercury Dealership when this style Tempo and its Topaz twin were new. They were good solid little cars. I think it is great you have found this great example and decided to give it some love. I hope it will go to a good home.
