Abandoned Beamish Cog Miniature Railway Explore November 2023 

Please note we only accessed the site through an open gate, only took pictures, only left footprints. Shots of the viaduct taken from the roadside.
The Beamish Cog Railway was established by the Beamish Model Engineering group in the early 1990s and opened to the public in 2012. Unfortunately by 2022 the plans for both the BMES and Beamish Museum didn’t align and a lot of the volunteers and equipment was moved to the Alan Valley Railway.
