This week we went back... to see chateau banana one year later.. there were alot of reactions saying it was not abandoned. But we checked it out and it definitely still is.. the new video of chateau banana will be on my channel soon! Stay tuned for this and more locations we did on our amazing trip to France and Italy..
Thank you. It's very nice to get such a tour of such a beautiful home. Wonderful it's in good shape and not stripped. I loved seeing the furniture, dishes and photos etc in place. It seems like it's been cleaned. No dust and not ransacked. A place like this should be preserved and made into a museum or special place of some kind.
Man, this place is off the chain!!!! Don't go so fast, i like to look at the furniture and pictures. Heck i almost got dizzy when you panned across a room.
Amen kiddo. I was loving the place, but hating the way you pointed your camera over a bed five or six times only to then showed a glimpse of a fancy painted desk which you opened; but then you never backed up to let us get a good look at it.
@@grnpeepers2683 i know! I have seen so many like this back when I worked as a private care provider. Most were elderly women who's out of town family would hire us to check-in and light housekeeping a few days each week.
Still abandoned one year later. Please check out the new video of revisit chateau banana ! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Pzh5XrfQbW0.html
I love the way you use music throughout instead of constant talking like others do. Just a little tip - steady the hand that holds the camera, and pan a bit more slowly so that everything may be seen instead of just catching a glimpse of things xx
Seems like they could sell some of that beautiful old furniture to make a lot of the major repairs that would save the house from being taken over by nature.
The owners left everything behind.. it suposed to be turned into a hotel.. but the cost for reparing the building where just to much.. they are German People., I think they came to france to start this hotel. it didnt work out and they went back to germany.. Im not 100% shure..
I worked for a very well off new York family they had so many properties that they forgot about a property on the west coast, their accountant reminded them after decades of property expense billings
It was absolutely abandoned and has been for a long time. I guess the reason you get this impression is because I filmed the best parts of the house. There was alot of mess and it was rotten and dirty. Floors were really in bad condition. Verry dangerous place
I sure hope someone isn't going to demolish that beautiful place too, with all the outstanding architect in it. I would give anything to be the owner of it
I found some photos of this building at another place and things were arranged differently in this video. Someone is moving stuff around and that ruins the affect (if that makes sense.)
Beautiful place so forgotten. I do ask that you slow down though. 2 reasons, to enjoy the beauty more and not feel moments of dizziness when scanning the place. Maybe add in some still pics and history if you can so we can take in all its wonder. Thank you for sharing your videos with us.
The MEDALLIONS and CHANDELIERS on the ceiling are magnificent! And the cream and white bedroom sets look like they could have been in a Hollywood home, in the 50s or 60s.
I WILL TAKE THAT LOVELY PLACE .. I HAVEN'T SEEN A LAMP CEILING LIGHTS ALL LOOK LIKE SOMEONE TOOK THEM. WHAT YEAR I WONDER .. THAT PLACE IS JUST WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR IN LIFE MAKING A TRIP TO FRANCE.. WHAT A VIDEO.
Where is this place 😉 🤫 🤐 I want to move in! I’m obsessed with France 🇫🇷 Paris... total “Francophile”!! I watched a very bad video of this place from last year and found my way here. The place looks amazing in your video! Can’t believe “photographers” set this all up. I love 😍 all the colors, all the French Provincial furniture and Chandeliers you captured in your video. I would love to have some of that French Provincial furniture to add to my own. My heart just aches thinking about it all just sitting there and so much of it looks to be in great shape... crazy!? It needs a home and people to love and care for it all. I would love to see the outside of this place. Does anyone know it’s original history? How old... was it originally a family home... how long and why was it abandoned in the first place?
Nicky Rainbow Don’t have F/I, but that’s ok. I googled after and saw more pictures, but not much history yet. Really should have left my curiosity of what it looked like on the outside in my imagination~ ha ~just made me sicker knowing that beautiful furniture is just sitting in there to rot away for the sake of urban decay photography.
If and when homes are truly abandoned you will see black mold bcs of the lack of air flow - no ventilation. This house is being kept by someone and these treasure hunters are trespassing. I love to watch to look at the decor but perhaps if we all stop watching they will only record after seeking permission. I'm done after seeing the first 40 secs. Our neighbor kept his mother's house after she died becoming its caretaker for nearly 10 years. He made weekly visits and never moved any items from where they were when she died. After he passed away, his wife donated everything to charity, cancelled the utilities (in our state electricity and water must be on even if no occupancy), then sold the property.
Fora o viajar sofreram acidente, cade a família????
This property is not abandoned, you have trespassed and you are doing this video quickly to put it on RU-vid. As you know a lot of you tubers at the moment love to look at videos on Chateau’s. Everything is staged for your video!
I think you are very quick to judge, ive made a video where I visited this place one year later, and it was still abandoned. I dont have time to stage chateau's.. as you can see on my channel ive visited loads of places and I understand the difference between abandoned and trespassing. I Am not a RU-vid attention seeker. I only share history and amazing places for people to see. Thats also why I dont give alot of information about the location so the vandals wont go there to destroy these amazing places. Thank you for watching @ElizabethBrzezicka
the rest of the house was a complete mess.. it got the name Chateau Banana, off all the packed Banana boxes they used moving in. according to the internet,, the owners wanted to make a hotel (every room had a bathroom and one of the rooms say ''private"') but as you can see, that didnt happen..
Frame 3:59 That Chandelier is unique, I have never seen one with roses hanging down. Is this mansion a museum, and is furnishings original? Nicely preserved and well kept. The couple in the wedding photograph, the original occupants of the mansion?
Please dont make fool's of us who watch these many visit's at old houses and castles', this house are filled up with many expensive thing's, dont tell me that vandal's and commen thief's would lieve stof like that, of course somebody are related to all that, what a clean abanded house..........
I try so hard to understand as to why anyone would have been in these beautiful homes Mansions Villas Estates there are a lot of historian Buffs out there please explain to us as why they would up and abandon these beautiful places.
Hey pan slower way too fast hurts the eyes and look more at detail of architecture and the antique furniture and flooring and windows and views and yes go slower on fireplaces light fixtures etc, there was some nice old stuff you flew by.
it was Abandoned.. But I didnt film the moldy fridge and dead birds inside.. so what you see is just the nice parts of the house, and its staged by photographers
Oke well I've visited 2 times in 2 years and it was still the same after my first visit. So looks like they don't come there very often there.. the definition of abandoned must be there is no one living or visiting and that is the case here. Enjoy the video. You can watch the revisit on my channel :)
it has been abandoned for a few years.. al the stuff was Packed in boxes.. but photographers unboxed alot of stuff to put it on the table.. they staged most rooms for perfect pics.. belive me it was gross inside... dead birds and mold.. and smell was horrible in the kitchen.. the house was so Packed with banana boxes.. thats why it got this name..
What you can’t see in pictures. Am still surprised that there wasn’t more dirt on everything. Most of the time everything is coming from the celling and getting on everything. But you were there to see it with your own eye. So am sure you know better than me. Should’ve known it look to good when it come to how perfect thing were. Someone did a lot of work putting all that stuff out. And I don’t think it needed myself. But even saying all that it looks like it could be save. Watch again and I think your just so busy looking at all the stuff your really not looking at the inside of the house itself. But the more I look the more you could see. But for sure seen a lot worse some money could save it. You wonder wat it just sitting there going to waste why they didn’t sell it before now. It looks like it could be a great home and the land it was on could be a great family place. Watch again you didn’t even show the kitchen was it that bad.
at 1:48 and 2:15 you can see the boxes pilled up in the back.. at 4:45 you see how full the hallway was.. all kinds of stuff. I really want to thank you for the feedback.. I realised that In most videos I only show the best parts... but I guess you guys just love to see me puke over a moldy smelly fridge and stuff like that xD I will try for my next videos.. to show the place as it really is.. everything from the inside and outside.. hope you want to subscribe and stay tuned for more (better) urban exploration videos !
Why are there so many abandoned homes just left to wrack and ruin? I just don't understand that, why aren't they being sold or rented not left to be vandalized etc. This looked like it was once an amazing home.
This place is not abandoned on the internet it states its owned by the grandson I guess he doesnt visit some place have painful memories and now ppl are breaking in looting
This is sad to watch, why let so much beauty and art go to waste, give it to someone or an organization that will preserve it, there are people they would be more than happy to do this, I am one of them. I am by no means wealthy but if I was not presented with bureaucracy in turning it into a working bed and breakfast or even something else just to save it I could and I am sure I am not by myself. If anyone knows how a group of us could acquire a place like this to save it please let me know and we can Correspond on a project! This is just such a waste that will never be seen again.
