You get some of the rudest comments but in my opinion you're one of the best RU-vid explorers there is. You're really down to earth with a big heart and educated in an upscale way. You also do some background work into your videos and video places unseen unlike other explorers. You still got a lot to learn but your videos are great and love the photography that gets done as well. Keep up the good work 👍.

Did some info digging on the first property. The house was built in 1935 and sits on 30 acres. It also features two barns. The old lady who lived there died in 2011, she was 85. Her husband died in 1979, so Steve was right, she was a widow. The property was bought by a couple in 2016, who appear to be unrelated to the old lady. But, it is still a mystery as to why the place is abandoned. Land investment? Financial issues? No time to work on it? Hopefully they can get around to it sometime and make it a great place.

@@captbud420 yup, both are good examples of not having family to secure your estate. I hope the Mustang does get saved. There's been talk by other people to claim it by retitle but obviously nobody has acted on that lol.

@@jeremysales1232 There is some sense to what your saying but I'm not encouraging Auto theft. These 60s Mustangs are hot right now and are going up in value. My neighbor had listed a 66 in pieces for $2500 and sold it in less than a week. There is an actual business that buys these cars up to sell them for higher. If I were interested in buying the car I would be doing it legally. First and easiest way would be to find and contact the current deed holder of the property. The property owner can either work out a deal or say no. Sometimes these abandoned properties are on the market and the listing agent might be able to help you out. Worst case scenario is if the deed holder is deacesed or otherwise untraceable than that means you would have to find immediate family or contact an attorney. You can claim an abandoned vehicle legally through bonded title. But it's all up to you if the work is worth it or not.

As a lover of muscle cars (grew up around the Quarter-mile track, Mopar Girl at heart, but I love them all!), it's so sad to see that Mustang sitting there, left to rot. 😔 It would be a great project car to restore!

@@moparmater1 There's a reason why my parents' specialized license plate says RATTRAP on their 1973 Challenger Rallye 340! (Top Banana with white vinyl interior, did 13.2 at the Quarter-Mile without mods. It stars in a couple of my wedding photos, too! 😉)

@@angelcureg2415 it's not a gt it's just a 68 mustang coupe base model hardtop with an auto trans probably a 302 or 6 cyl car... Not very desirable and would cost more to restore than it'd be worth... But still a cool car that should be saved...

To use one of the bathroom faucets like in this place, you do not turn it. You push the ball toward the wall, away from you. The grey/silver object you asked about in the barn cabinet was a commercial grade circular saw.

That electrical box is a fuse box. The way electricity used to be relayed/ regulated within a house. They've pretty much all been upgraded to the switches you're used to seeing now.

There's such a sadness about looking at such a grand house that is now empty. There may be a squatter living in there, but I wonder what it was like when there was a family living there. All the noise of the people talking and going up and down the stairs. It looks like someone's dream home. I love the columns on the front of the house. @7:46 the power box you found as you called it is actually called a fuse box. It has old glass fuses and not breakers in them. In modern homes you have a circuit breaker box/panel. @10:15 Only one is a mattress, the other is a box spring.

That's a 66 notch back stang. I had one about 18 years ago. I ran really good and I did a lot to the inside. But I just didn't have the money to get it done right. I sold it to someone who could do it up right. Right now I do have the money and I would love to find it and buy it back all done up. Lol. Great video man. Thanks for sharing.

Its a 2nd generation Mustang, 67 or 68. Not that valuable because it isn't a fastback/V8/4 speed car. It is likely a 289 V8 engine because it has 5 lugs on the wheels and the 6 cylinder cars usually had 4 lugs. If one likes it, it is worth restoring to enjoy but not as an investment restoration. You can get almost every part to do that now. A true barn find.
