Abandoned NightClub Brunel Rooms, Swindon, Urbex 

This was my haunt back in the late 90s early 00s. Had the best night's in this place. Wish they never closed and never changed the place. It used to have a revolving bar and the dance floor was huge and It used to have a stage at the back. Oh the memories. So sad to see it in this state.

Absolutely loved this place in the mid 90’s

Had some great nights in here they had a revolving bar you would walk in and to the bar by the time you got your drink it would have turned 180 degrees and you would lose your mates as for the lift ruler has it if you caused trouble you was taken down in the lift and given a beating by security between floors

Dam I had so many good nights here. The revolving bar used to spin my head out. Ffs all the good places in swindon have shut. I live in calne I dont come to Swindon much anymore. So sadly didn't know this had shut .

Wow this brought back some memories. Haven't been in this place for over 15 years. Used to get very messy in there, but looked totally different, from what I can remember 👌🤙

Was once rated in the top 5 clubs in UK in the 90s. A little before my era but had some good times there x

Some big big memories of that place, had a lot of magic there, Sandy Martin (RIP) in his leather shorts cueing the next tune up on his tartan trim phone on a wednesday nappy night, never thought I'd see it like this, cheers for the looksy Kirbz

It was a great place in the late 70s/80s I can hardly recognise it on here, but the bands the ampi and the revolving bar all fab. Like someone says Sandy Martin was the main man for the disco great times.

Hey you were right this did change from brunel rooms to liquid and envy for a few years, envy was on the first floor and liquid was on the second floor where the round bar was and then that shut and reopened as brunel rooms again.

Broke me up a bit, but I'd stopped DOING THE ROOMS 1999.Still had revolving bar by the cloak room. Thanks. With all that room it would be packed. Work hard rave hard.

Unrecognisable from when I went there back in the late70s/early80s. Back then they had some big names from that era playing there live. Some great memories from those days. Sad to see it in this state now, Unfortunately the state of this is pretty much the state of Swindon town centre now a days.

Used to love going here back in the 90’s , it was the place to be . Wonder what’s gone on in there , maybe squatters been in there ? What will happen to these places eventually will they just get left to rot ? Great content buddy

Oh my Days!! 8 of us crammed into my car and we drove an hour from Hampshire for the Friday Night Fruitclub all nighter! Propper nutted! Dancing till 6am then out in to daylight and birds cheaping! Dropping Vinnie Clarke at work 7.00am....man is a fuuuucking legend! I'm 59 now (fuck knows how that happened!?) Best times ever!!!

I take it that the circular aperture in the ceiling is where the large rotating circular bar once was. I never realised it was still open as late as 2014. (I moved to Manchester in 2003 visiting Swindon to see my kids and grankids)

So my mum and her sister owned Brunel rooms re opened it and I remember having the whole place for my birthday lol. My mum said they definitely didn’t leave it like this!
