Why have you Swedes not yet awarded the Abba team with the highest state awards, as other countries have done in relation to their performers. There is some sadness in this that we, the citizens of other countries, are asking to honor the members of the Abba band, and the Swedes do not do it, having a legendary band that is number 1 when it comes to pop music

Eso es cierto pero el sitio de ventas chartmasters dice que todo eso es falso que es un mito que en latinoamerica a penas y sonaron, esa página demerita mucho el éxito se ABBA aduciendo que solo vendieron en Europa occidental y EU, no más,
First public appearance of Thank You For The Music... gosh it has been written by 1976 and was eventually released on record in most territories in January 1978.... other songs were written and released as a single only a few weeks later...

ABBA really owed alot to Stig he worked hard for them not only collaborating on their biggest hits in writing them coming up with the band name and managing them but doing trade deals with other countries which bought in huge amounts of money they wouldn't have earned otherwise.
he mostly came up with some of the song titles but also did bad like wanting a big percentage what they earned something like colonel parker did with elvis.
Actually Stig was a song writer and musical director and a musician and owner of his own music company and he co wrote on the majority of Abbas largest hits. Just bcos he has passed on and certain Abba members wish to take full credit doesn't change the facts.
Stig also stole a lot of money from them. 3 of the 4 ABBA members sued him and the courts agreed and he had to pay up. He was a drunken bully. Frida was the only one that didn't join in the lawsuit. I think she was very leery of him.
@@Vikinggirl1679Frida loved Stig. Stig loved Frida. Those two got along great. Frida was Stig's golden girl. Stig had Lena Andersson too and by 1972, he secured Anni-Frid Lyngstad. A big get for Stig. Frida also great friends with Gorel Johnsen. Gorel and Frida still very close today. Frida seemed to be loved by everyone that knew her. In 2010 at the RockNRoll Hall of Fame, Frida told the world that Stig was the 5th member of ABBA, was a great guy and they would not be standing here tonight without him. She is the ABBA member that has always never forget what Stig did for Swedish artist and the work he put in to get them heard outside of Sweden/Scandinavia. Both Stig and Frida had lost childhoods. Stig had no dad and grew up in poverty. Started making his own way as a teen. Extremely hard worker. Frida had no mom and dad. Raised by grandmother, who worked long hours to provide for her and Frida. Frida was on her own at age 13, when she turned pro. Also, an extremely hard worker and perfectionist like Stig. I think Frida saw in Stig someone with a rough childhood and also a older brother/father figure. Something Frida never had.
