Agnetha and Annifrid both have such beautiful clear voices. The whole group ABBA just clicked for a certain period in time, like the Beatles. And it was magical.
I can only speak for being Irish but everyone in Ireland was enchanted with Abba and still are. They are the greatest musicians to walk this earth. I think. Thank God they came together because they brought joy to millions of people.
Chris Gardiner: I can attest to your comment having attended a wedding near Dublin a few years ago. The entertainment at the reception was an amazing ABBA tribute group. The entire room was packed not only by us wedding celebrants, but also hotel staff and many uninvited people poured into the place to enjoy the 2 hour live performance. Sorry, I can’t recall the name of the group but costumes, music and everything were enchantingly realistic. It was pretty amazing. ABBA definitely are much appreciated in Ireland.

I haven’t found the better of any two female singers duetting than of Anegtha-and-Frida’s. Their voices harmonies a wonderful melody, in which one’s voice does not override the other’s unique. Together, their voices seemed to create a beautiful composition of musical sounds, promoting, bringing out the best of the other’s voice that made ABBA songs so unique, loving, and unforgettable.
So cute when she said they all got"Ghostbumps", when speaking about the feeling that Dancing Queen, would be a hit......There has always been something so sweet and genuine, about Agnetha!

Once in a lifetime magic comes along. WE had it twice, how fortunate we were. Elvis....and.... Abba. There have been other good singers and bands over the many years. I should know I'm almost 80 years old. Yet I don't know of any other single entertainer or group that has captured the hearts of people ALL over the world. It didn't matter what age you were, gender you were, or race you were. WE have had big names in the music industry, but I don't know of anyone else that has ever done that. It's funny isn't it , because neither Elvis nor Abba performed for that long. Yet we still listen to them over and over again decades later, and new and younger generations are absolutely loving them and telling us they were born in the wrong era.
ABBA was one of the main reason of my happy child hood and early adult hood. they are not just a group ..I can feel that they are a part of a family..Their music and their performance gave my generation lots of joys .. For me ABBA have always been a part of me.. A part of my happiest moments i ever had on this planet.
She's still beautiful and easily recognisable. And it's so nice to see that she, unlike many others, is aging decently, without defacing herself through all this plastic surgery and stuff.

ABBA were / are THE consumate pop band. They had absolutely EVERYTHING. Agnetha was an absolutely stunningly beautiful woman and drove young guys nuts!! Frida had that brilliant counter voice to Agnetha's higher pitched sound. The guys were brilliant composers and knew how to deliver the emotive and swingy music. These guys will remain legends and probably unsurpassable for the next 100 yrs.

I Love you ABBA for keeps. I'm an african (RSA black) at 58 yrs now. I noticed your music over the radio growing up on a farm in north of Pretoria and developed the love of it, mostly I was encouraged to learn the English because didn't initially understand a word but the melody took me in a whirlwind ride. The rest is history. I have amassed DVD's and enjoying myself. Playing the latest HD versions over the internet is a new experience and a dejavu for my youth days and am still dancing. Thank you
I belonged to that era of music. I was into progressive rock music like Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, and I also liked pop music like Journey. But I, too, bought and listened to ABBA because I loved their music. Their music was positive, bright, cheerful, catchy and brilliant. Seriously speaking, they were in a class of their own and they were the best at what they did. I really think they were a phenomenal group and one of the best. I will always love them and I thank them for giving us their music!
I always find Björn Ulvaeus interesting to listen to. I believe him when he says that they didn't have a 'formula' and were not a hit factory. What he is too modest and genuinely humble is to say is that the secret of their success was quite simple; they were brilliant songwriters, and Agnetha and Frida had superb voices that blended perfectly. Simple as that :-)
Indeed, i think the reason why they quit, is because do to the age and there appearance have changed over the years and that they didn't feel comfortable anymore also didn't feel wright.

I have loved ABBA since childhood, when the songs were new. And of course, I have always been in love with Agnetha. They are still my favorite group of all time.
No doubt, we should all hope to age as well as they have...and it's a pretty good bet they still love each other and the other half of ABBA. No doubt, their music through the years...the words...gives rise to their character and capacity to love
